It was going to be on the agenda at some point if crypto is going to become mainstream. The efficiencies will come from the fact that many of the middlemen will be taken out of the equation.

I'd argue that it would be very, very difficult to find a suitable candidate that is totally new world. She has extensive experience in the world of finance and an interest in the future success of Argo. Secondly, as others have pointed out, it's a non-executive role. She's there to offer guidance to a company with no experience in the world of finance. Seems perfect for the role, what's not to like?

As you say, he seems to be a master of social media and PR. Makes it all look so effortless. With the progressive nature of the business, I'm not sure he needs a Marketing Director at this stage but maybe at a later date. The field isn't crowded enough at the moment but once crypto is established that will be a different matter.

He made a big thing about fiat being a depreciating asset hence we were hodling. He's rightly committed to bitcoin going forward to the point of converting his party to bitcoin. I don't think it would have gone down too well had he called in our main asset thereby demonstrating a lack of commitment to crypto. As others have mentioned, there's also the uncertainty and erratic value of bitcoin.

We shouldn't be concerning ourselves with the rumours unless we are traders. LTHs just sit back and wait for the IIs to get onboard with bitcoin. All this short term news is only relevant to the traders jumping off and on the voyage. The only concern for the Argonauts is anticipating the dip and investing some more. Forget EM and Amazon insiders and enjoy (or endure) the 'banter' on here. Quarters and years.

I think we all know that he often does us short term favours. I've seen him act to the contrary so many times I try to ignore him these days. The actions of the iis are what will make or break crypto. His activities are only relevant to the traders being very short term.

I remember feeling a little foolish at 3p as I'd told family and friends it was one to invest in at 10p. Was mocked at family gatherings for my bad recommendation. They're all asking me for advice now!!! Fools :-)

It’ll be very interesting to see what the ‘breaking ground in Texas’ news does to the SP when the US opens up today. Almost like PW has timed everything to perfection again. Glad to see our faith in him was validated once again.

I think he was having a mare as an admin fighting off all the trolls/fuds so just booted a lot of people that weren't contributing that much as a precaution. I tried getting back in but to no avail which is fair enough. All the fudders seemed to have cleared from here now and hopefully they won't be back as ARB is only going one way from hereon in. :-)

Worth mentioning, we've been here before with him. Whilst it's all positive, you can't help but think when he's going to send out an opposing message. Good for the retail investors gaining confidence in bitcoin but we all know how fickle they are. Better more significant news is the RNS. Happy day for all the Argonauts!

Been here from week 1 (cost me around 10.5p a share)! Spent time underwater so I'm obviously happy how it's going. Could have jumped earlier but I'm convinced we'll go places. I also did some mining when Argo were MaaS but sadly couldn't get on the Bitcoin subscription and ended up with a pocketful of Horizen which has still increased around 700%. Largely ignore the dross on here (except for the odd rant) as I'm in for the long haul but not allowed in the discord group for whatever reason. I'm over it though ;-)

Personally I'm in it for the long haul and I really do think it will come good in the end. It's not reasonable to expect a massive return within 6 months if you ask me. Be patient.

It's business, not charity and it's patently a gamble if you're buying at that price not to mention that we are at a point where there are no guarantees being a company heavily involved in something mired in uncertainty, i.e. crypto. As with all bets, only place what you can afford to lose and always do your research. FOMO is not a good strategy. Personally I sat on a 75% loss before ARB came good for me but I didn't come on here bleating about how I'd been conned or why people should feel sorry for me. We know the risks, we're all responsible adults and if we're not sensible about it, it's our own fault.
