Kev,
Yeah, that was my point. I was querying why dyresearch was saying that Pello had nothing to do with the NFT IPO.
I think this has been brewing for a while:
https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2021/01/05/2153383/0/en/Marathon-Patent-Group-and-DMG-Blockchain-Solutions-to-Form-the-Digital-Currency-Miners-of-North-America-DCMNA-and-Launch-North-America-s-First-Cooperative-Mining-Pool.html
No reason to think that they have pulled out of Terrapool although would be good to hear if anybody knows otherwise.
When i was looking at getting involved in the IPO, the guys i was dealing with had pello email addresses. Any insight on why this would be the case?
Some good threads yesterday followed by some dross in the evening. Can we agree bully/ramper/de-ramper, don't get involved. We all know who they are. Don't give them the oxygen (much like we're doing now!) Let the good content rise to the top and not the dire ****posting. It's tempting to get involved but ignore and if they hijack a good thread, put them in the bin. The filter is at the top of the chat for those that don't know. Good luck all.
Great thread all. I'd also like to add that diversification from simply mining BTC will also be on the cards over the mid to long term. Investment in infrastructure coupled with the Pluto investment earlier in the year is a clear sign that Argo under PW has the intention of being more than a miner which I personally think is a sound move.
That website looks very official... not.
No privacy statement.
No idea who runs the company.
No GDPR compliance (presuming their aim is to FUD European investors).
No idea where they are located.
No idea who pays their bills.
I'd be calling in a forensics expert to take a closer look at this lot if I was the subject of one of their campaigns.
Great post AB. It also assumes that Argo intend to focus solely on being a miner. I've heard it mentioned before about diversification. Could it not be a possibility that they will consider other avenues such as being a utility supplier for the industry especially with all the displaced Chinese miners?
