It’s a mega buy at these levels…I’ve said it before I was happy to buy at 50-60 -70p back in the day….things have improved since the master bull sheeter Parsons moved on… things look brighter here than ever before so buying at 1.5 is a gift indeed… £2.04 would be crazy good for all long term holders but long road ahead… 50p would do me!

.... This is indeed a big disappointment for Petro Matad and its shareholders for whom high expectations and a long wait have led to a dry hole at Velociraptor 1. But Mike Buck is right to say that this reasonably inexpensive well in a frontier acreage had to be drilled.

It is good that Block XX received the necessary approvals last week and it should be remembered that there are plenty of exciting things to go after in the Heron development. All is not lost…

4.6p seems very much a conservative figure to me near term ... but nevermind... either way 1.3-1.4 is mega cheap buying in my book right now IMHO

Yep great turn around…. Market had nothing priced in @V1.. now 27p priced in on proactive… could well end the weeks 7/8p if Buck uses his head and puts out positive updates…

Great to see plenty buyers picking these up today...great sentiment here despite todays news... just goes to show eyes are on the bigger prize as Heron comes into focus.

It wouldn't surprise me if MB comes out with good news to keep the fire burning here.. Maybe info on new licencing MATD had picked up or Heron date/equipment.. then its back past 7/8p my guess

I dont ...i expect this to settle at 4.5p where it started... V1 was not priced in.... 1 in 5 COS did not get the market excited for a gusher hence the SP never budged.. Heron now is the prize and what MB will focus on

Many robbed i feel... Mm's would of set off 100's of stop losses only to bounce back 10seconds later... as i said earlier a 10-20% drop on this result for today is expected .... a gusher was not priced in at all IMHO
