Many of us are down horrendous amounts.
What’s irking me is that I can deal with it if it’s a duster or something but not this where we have an outrageous placing and a total joke of a market cap where we are on a inclining production curve in the lowest gone risk country and very likely a substantial reserve upgrade coming at some point

Chuckle brothers know news is unlikely till cuda bid in and mms more than happy to entertain them….

Noob after Arts porkies re placing (although I think he was alluding to placing to fund daily business) it’s understandable that many are on the side lines, particularly as there are a bunch on here trying to get the SP even lower on tiny volumes.
However those buying now will be the lucky ones due to the amount of news flow stacked up.
I have a feeling that all the ‘teething’ issues will magically disappear once Cuda is in the bag and ….let’s not forget costs are essentially fixed now, so once we have extra WI and the BOPD rises it’s all clover…..but of course those putting the boot in now know this….

I think that was what all of thought would happen…
But Arty boy could not resist letting his mates have one (hopefully last) snout in the placing trough before letting this go….

You have to say this was for a relatively small sum….
Makes no sense to raise this relatively small amount unless you had bee.n given an indication your bid was likely to succeed.
If they play hardball we have cash to accelerate horizontal wells in the deeps…

HFB totally agree that the creditors should know mkt value of CUDA.
But to me the ONLY reason for share price destruction and raising at this derisory level is to ensure CUDA firesale bid is accepted.
I think the deep discovery is a massive part of the strategy, if we get the 85 percent of that on top of current production Art has already said he is going to do multiple horizontal wells that could produce up to 1000 bopd with MF.
You add the deep production from a few wells plus peak production from existing and all of a sudden we could be looking at 85% of 10,000 bopd……

Unless they don’t want anything vaguely positive right now….
Because if it’s not the case they want a low mkt cap never mind Tilburm, my 5 year old could do a better PR job than is being done right now. Poor to say the least….

HFB completely agree I don’t see the point of artificially deflating COPL mkt cap but clearly Art does.
We will find out soon enough if there is method to his madness…..

Amazing value destruction happening here

HFB I think we can all say whatever is going on with CUDA we will all be glad to hear when it’s over as only then will the shenanigans be over.

I have faith medium term this will be an excellent investment and if as expected we are ‘taking one for the team’ so we get CUDA for chump change then hopefully as soon as bid is accepted we wiil start to re rate.

I have to say I am in COPL and we are also awaiting news of a licence extension that was due weeks ago and nothing.
The concept of strict deadlines in general in Africa seems to be far more relaxed than in Europe where we expect news the day after or all hell breaks lose.

Took my last few pennies and averaged down to mid 20s so it had better the the former or it’s tramp pants for me..

Comms have been lazy at best, some would say abysmal. This desperately needs news and other than not issuing due to Cuda I cannot see a reason for the blatant value destruction that is happening right now.

Only sellers are those that bought in around 3p taking some off the table

I think everyone is sick of being blindsided (which admittedly may be for the greater good)
I have written this off till q1 results which by which time we should have CUDA sorted and be close to peak production

We will find out soon enough I guess my take is a placing to keep lights on

Given the decreasing cash balance, it is likely that additional funds will be sought before the end of January 2022 in order to meet licence and working capital needs and in order to meet the "going concern" tests of the 2021 year-end audit.
