Having been onboard for some time I find it hard not to think that on a few occasions there has been a concerted plan by possibly several parties to crash the price - and then pile in with significant buys ,,,

strange how the huge number of automated sells are followed by a huge number of automated buys once the price is right down

except the Hut Group was badly managed from a City perspective and could well go private again

what on earth is going on?

WPP and S4 are not in the same space. They could have Cocoa Cola ATL global - and we could have Coca Cola digital global - no problem

Look at all those sells at the end of the day at exactly the same time. Does anybody else think there is a concert party here to keep the price down? The last one was followed by a huge series of buys , lets see what happens tomorrow morning

When they buy a company instead if handing over cash, they give the Directors /owners shares in S4 as part of the deal. A, Its cheaper and B it locks them in and motivates them to make the joint deal work - as it is in their interest .As opposed to buying in cash,,,,

wpp is not a rival - except in the sense that a bike rivals a car for travelling at speed
s4 is growing fast precisely because the other global networks did not foresee or act upon the speed of the move to digital.
Meanwhile S4 pitches for and wins their clients .
The key word in Martins talk is "pipeline" - which can mean known pitches to come and/or known acquisitions to come - or both.

yes it is a long term share, the potential growth is enormous and global - just look at the WPP graph and imagine there is no global competition

my litmus test of a day is how many buys are there over £50k

no non retail buys/sells in the last hour, the serious investors re sitting tight while timid reetail buyers sell on what they think are bad results

sales up 100% in the usa
sales level in the uk
Diageo now buying non alcoholic drinks brands
LVMH always looking at global premium brands inc drinks trade

Its a shame Vettel has signed for RP/AM ,,,, as George Russell looks to have put pressure on Lewis's bargaining position.

Apart from no one liking Vettel, for all the obvious reasons, it make s Lewis move less likely as he no doubt cant stand him either.

my advice would be to follow the share price yes, but pay more attention to F1 and the huge Mercedes investment/deal. Why would you do that and stop there?

something is going on , I am locked down mostly and work from home anyway , so i watch GP for endless hours. The interview are telling for what they don't cover. I think Lewis is loyal to MB and Toto but but I also think that now he has the record, he will eye a bigger picture , such as doing something for a British team,,,, just my humble view, but i have backed it with large ish wadge of shares.Well, large for me .In the five figures.

I suspect this is more to do with the fact that traditional ATL media accounts are discussed this way, because it is easy to buy the data - whereas the there are so many digital variants that the numbers tell you very little and aren't for sale anyway
