The market valuation of the company has little to do with fundamentals, and may not for months going on into years. It is valued against risk at the moment.

Remember, this share doesn't have the waiting volume to pick up orders during a crash, so the mm end up buying the shares very much lower to maintain liquidity as they have to. That's why it drop so far last year.

My expectation is based on a 'catastrophic' rumour causing a major sell cascade that reaches down to the lowest stop losses. For any other share, that might be ridiculous. But for this one, the BOD gave more than enough scope for such a panic to occur. It might explain why there is no press release or RNS - one word out of place and it could cause panic. Even to suspend for a few hours to allow for a RNS to be digested to prevent unintended wild market speculation may itself kick it off.

I have a price alert set at 99 in the app. If it crashes again on 'rumour' of impending suspension or forced delisting due to one of the 'fatal' conditions coming home early, then the volatility may qualify some quick trades.

The point is trying to day trade a share with a spread typically in the 3-7% range. Even with what looks like a 10% gain, you will be very very lucky to pull a worth while 5%. Otherwise you have to stick around waiting for drift in the right direction whilst being exposed to the extreme risk. So, the stated buy earlier, what was it, @270, would yield (using the 15min delay above) 273 from a very good retail broker, or 1% and then take of trading costs.

Is this really much to write home about? Is the name calling and jeering really qualified?

No panic sell, wish I had and I would have a fiver to show for my efforts, ha! slept on it and decided the board were explicitly saying there are very major fundamental problems that could easily wipe out the company. I see no published correction or clarification to that thrice 'fatal' commentary. When the big cheese talks in such terms, its a worrying sign.

But for gutsy do or die day traders who can pick up 5% here and there at this level, hey good luck. If you think you can get out faster than a suspension - you go girl!

No forecast, just stating should I resume day trading that would be the kind of level for this share.
My actual forecast is the company asking LSE to suspend the share without warning because they are unable to meet the listing requirements - and that is based directly on the board saying they cannot get any institutions on board for a future maintained LSE principle listing as a split company. So how does that describe the current status whilst saddled with 'toxic' assets with sanctions expanding each round? The lack of clarification that the current position IS acceptable to LSE amidst the concern over maintaining a listing makes this too high a risk, no matter where is goes - even if it doubles from here!!!!

If you get lucky and trade a profit during these p&ds, good for you.

Rally the mob against a single person. Get the huddle going. Age old tactics. People can't argue the case based on what the company actually says, so coercion continues to be the order of the day. Classic pump n dump - and I am not being any part of it.

I can tell one very high volume poster today is aware of the extreme gamble they are involved with. The 'over dose' of postings is to convince themselves rather then correspond. Maybe for once they will mark up and realise actual real profit in the cash account. Overall, I doubt it. Such gamblers always keep holding out for the ever bigger win. Not because it makes sense or is realisable, but because it is a macho challenge to score a point against anonymousness strangers in a chat room.

And that is how the easily led are manipulated to keep gambling and keep losing.

Doesn't matter, risk far to big for the reward for me. Bear in mind, it doesn't matter what the sp is, it's fake profit until you cash in. Won't be daring to day this at these levels.

I suspect this is a rinse and repeat of the last couple of pre fed rate announcements which were expected to be market favourable. The market is very bullish at the moment. There were a couple of hefty sells towards the end of trading. It has pump and dump on the back of a lead up to positive rate news.

How can a buy be at the bottom end of the spread? Amazing to watch people delude themselves live.

At this price, with such huge risk, very happy to be out and stay out. Get down to the 50p range with high volume and might play with it but way to high risk for me.

All the repeat hallmarks of pump n dump MKII. You'll get your fingers burnt.

Pilinger, huh! He could not have got it more wrong.

We all do, we encourage Russia to stop the aggression and withdraw. Nobody can sue for peace by withdrawing their defence. The west and NATO's response has been reactionary against Russian aggression, and to the shame of the west, to a rather limited extent. Not even a pea shooter was fired at Russia before they invaded.

I would strongly disagree with that. Based on the thrice fatal warnings of the current very precarious continuation of listing on LSE and the potential for further sanctions to finally clip POLY's wings at any moment, I would instead say this is a day by day, hour by hour assessment as to if, or when, the company asks the exchange to suspend the share as they can no longer meet the exchange, FCA or foreign office rules. That presentation was a blunt plain warning the situation could very suddenly change. Any day trading I would attempt will be in and out within hours - very high risk.

before the battlefield generals rebel! Also, as promised by myself a few days ago, supply of aircraft to upgrade Ukrainian MiGs now vocalised in public. Big decision for all on the aggressor side, commit to a spring offensive in last ditched effort to save some face, or call it off and withdraw as an un-winnable and unsustainable war. The second option is well overdue.
