Some of you really need to read up before posting. BRICS has been in development for many years and works with the G20 as part of the globalisation to bring weaker poor countries into the opportunity sphere.

Sadly some of you, like Russia at the moment, look to this as some sort of opportunity to create rifts, stand-offs, demarcation, conflict and even war against 'the west'. The BRICS project is actually designed to do the exact opposite. Russia may well be trying to hijack the ideology behind BRICS and may have had a limited degree of success with its bizarre Nazis propaganda, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep the lies going and BRICS countries, notably China, have all but dismissed the lies and increased their distance from Russia.

Russia will fail to turn BRICS into a cold war style bloc aimed at the west, like Putin's good old days. Interests within BRICS are far bigger than Russia's agenda and the G20 may well pull support for BRICS if it did become a 'bloc' against the west rather than a functioning trading system with the G20.

Don't forget, the US and much of the west do not want to be the ones constantly having to fund the rest of the world or police the world. BRICS is as much about those countries starting to look after themselves with others handing over the money and sending in troops to stop conflicts. So far from the Gulf to the Arab spring, caucuses, and now Ukraine, the new world order and BRICS is not stepping up to the mark. Who has had to end up supplying weapons for Ukraine to defend itself?

Therefore, invest in lead smelters and gold spray paint manufacturers, lol.

The narrative at the moment seems to have reverted back to attempting to claim 'disruption' by virtue of someone arguing back in an assumed private space of others.

I note, with others, the sudden increase in hostile posts specifically targeting one person. You are trying to construct a narrative to yet again dupe the admin to banning an account. I think you will find they are tired of this.

This is China peddling away further from the 'us and them' narrative Russia has been trying to spin with China.

Russia is being ever so gradually isolated day by day. Lula has turned, arab states are turning, India has increased distance, China is full retreat.

I invite those in Russia to consider this opinion as it demonstrates well why Ukraine has become such a red line, why there will be no negotiation and why there is one single acceptable outcome, irrespective of threats of nuclear from Moscow.

I get second hand drops which is often cross referenced with independent comments on the ground. Sometimes it is a bit like people on here saying they have a friend in Russia and/or Ukrainian so they can get first hand info, albeit tainted by the various propaganda machine. Mine is 'very well connected'. Not complete, sometimes a bit hazy, but frequently of the right context and a few days ahead of the breaking news on the news wire.

There's a great deal of chatter on the diplomatic wire this Sunday. Something is happening, a lot of pleas for sanctuary and immunity in the west coming out of 'elites' in Russia. Possible purge about to happen [or the forced call up] or already underway and possibly reacting to the expectation of some sort of internal takeover within the military and/or security service of the pro-nuke lobby which might extend to Putin [once the structure in the Kremlin breaks up into factions]. There has been a lot of tensions in the military for the last month, some public.

And no I can't give you a reference because this is not on the news wire. Previous tension is reported, but something has significantly increased 'speculative' requests coming out of Russia today seemingly bombarding western contacts.

I reported this tactic a few weeks ago. Ukraine withdraw from Bakhmut under their own terms, allow Russian's in to zones Ukraine dictates, and then eliminates the lot in one go. Will Ukraine stay simply to time out a date in a diary,i.e. May 9th? Unlikely. But they will control any retreat causing as much damage as possible to the occupying force and then return VERY QUICKLY to take out concentrated Russian reinforcements and ammo stores with the new tanks - you heard it here first, again.

Ya, OKAY, spot the difference between bad mouthing the government [of Ukraine] against incitement speech.

As I suspected, very definitely comparing apples with pears. And as far as trying to align the restricting of any incitement (applicable to everybody) with the heavy censorship applicable in Russia where even holding up a blank piece of paper is now a criminal offence.

In fact, Ukraine is simply catching up with the rest of the world. I posted a moment ago what we have in the UK.

You don't have one. You have some blogger on YouTube. For all anybody knows, any change to existing legislation may be nothing more than sanctioning false news as broadcast within propaganda on Russian pro-Kremlin media. I'll reserve judgment until there is some sort of official news on that.
