Apparently the exercises in Belarus have not ended but have been extended. There are no conflict zones on that border so extending the exercises is clear move to keep the front open and dilute Ukraine forces trying to defend too much oder. est no needs to talk about significant sanctions against Belarus for facilitating Russia.

As far as my interpretation of events, take it or leave it. If you have nothing constructive add and instead just keep attacking the person, sod off.

It could be a rollercoaster day trade, with the Putin side playing it as if Macron has succeeded whilst they continue ingress plans making sp shoot up only to come crashing down as whatever good will promise by the Russians fails and instead the opposite happens. From the start I have expected the East to be taken over where there are ethnic Russians, then to continue beyond the Donbas south to create a land bridge to the Crimea to complete the annexation. Then over coming years creep westward using local referenda until the government is taken over politically and Ukraine joins a new Warsaw pact type set up.

If you really think Putin is turning to Macron as a peace maker you are significantly deluded. Any meeting or dialogue is a smoke screen. Just like Slobadom played the EU like fools to create space for the aggression and genocide in the Balkans war, Putin is playing on the vanity of Marcon and the EU to believe they are somehow important and able to influence events. If it was a US Russia summit it might have legs. Boris should avoid being dragged into the stunt and concentrate on preparing our forces to be combat ready with NATO.
