I've speculated BA could be spun off but more for the financing side but the anticompetitive and protectionist nature of how the EU does business has also been a threat to IAG and BA. Must say, the idea of a spun off BA buying up Easy J is a novel one. There was a big consolidation on the cards post pandemic. With the valuations as low as they are now due to the Ukraine situation, well business is business. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Might be fast before prices rise again.

Russia started a completely unnecessary brutal war threatening nuclear war if anybody interfered. We either cower to Russia and submit to its authoritarian rule, or we remove that threat. Here is the story supposedly stating Ukraine stopping refugees leaving war zone. Actually, the story says Refugees are being stopped from going to Russia! Even that is not given any evidence. Who in their right mind is going to flee into the land of the enemy? This seems to be a continuation of the false flag episode. As before when people in Donbas region were paid to move over to Russia camps, very reluctantly, the propaganda here is trying to claim people are trying to flee Ukrainian forced. It appears few if any are trying to get to Russia and instead heading in the other direction but Russian shelling stopped the convoys.

I did say the Nazi rhetoric was aimed at keeping Israel sweet. Israel has nukes, so they count. A large amount of Russian money flows through Russian Jews to Israel. The sanctions are going to perhaps hit Israel harder than most and the US also has significant leverage on Israel. So they have direct lines to Putin, the inner circle and oligarchs.
