Fuse lit already?
Staunton, Aug. 16 – On August 11, Kyiv publicist Ivan Yakovin declared online that Russia’s communal infrastructure could be most usefully attacked by Ukrainian drones during August when demands on the electric and water grids in places like Daghestan were the highest and at greatest strain (youtube.com/watch?v=dPee5Im61b0).
Three days later, Daghestanis took to the streets in the hundreds to protest shortages of water and electricity and even blocked a federal highway passing through the republic (novayagazeta.eu/articles/2023/08/17/vzryvnoi-protest, nemoskva.net/zhiteli-mahachkaly-tretij-raz-za-nedelyu-protestuyut-iz-za-chastyh-otklyuchenij-elektroenergii/ and nemoskva.net/zhiteli-dagestana-perekryli-federalnuyu-trassu-iz-za-otsutstviya-vody/).
The odds are that this was a coincidence because communal infrastructure in many parts of the Russian Federation has long been at the edge of collapse, and the month of August is typically the time when people suffer the most and thus are inclined to protest. But the possibility that Ukraine was responsible for triggering these events cannot be entirely dismissed.
US-based Russian commentator Aleksandr Nemets is among those who believe that Ukraine may have played a role there and could exploit Russian weakness in this area in the future. He argues that the Russian Federation is approaching its end but the end may not come in soon but only months or years from now (kasparov.ru/material.php?id=64DDE7CCCDFC9).
And he suggests there are “two instruments of ‘accelerating’” this outcome and that they are interrelated: “new Ukrainian drones and centrifugal tendencies (disintegration) of the Russian Federation.” Daghestan is just the beginning of what could be a broad attack on Russian infrastructure that could bring Moscow to its knees, Nemets suggests.
That North Caucasus republic is especially intriguing, he continues, because it is usually dismissed “as one of the poorest Russian autonomies which survives only thanks to federal subsidies,” a pattern that in the minds of most makes it a highly unlikely candidate for any national movement to emerge.
“But according to a recently published interview with ‘the leaders of Daghestani independence,’ Nemets says, “Daghestan possesses on the shelf of the Caspian Sea enormous reserves of oil and natural gas. If it becomes independent, it will attract more foreign investment and earn more money from the export of petroleum.”
At the very least, the possibility that Ukraine and the popular actions in Daghestan are connected is a Russian nightmare, one likely to lead the Kremlin to intensify its repression there, even though that may prove to be like fighting a grease fire with water, something that will only spread the flames and not put them out.
Wow, BSR trawls twitter for some self-promoting Russian mouthpiece to find something anywhere for Russia. This 'is' the bottom of the barrel!
What the Russian's didn't know was that Zelensky, on one of his visits, stopped over on the moon and stuck a Patriot defence battery on the south pole. Despite the press release photos clearly showing Zelensky cutting the red ribbon on the moon, and pushing a ceremonial big red button to activate the system, Russia decided to continue it's territorial land grab of the moon. Not learning from it's losses and failed folly in Ukraine, Russia lost it's space craft, launched by the Russia clown academy space wing, after a direct nose cone strike from the Patriot missile.
MUPPETS!

Not just F-16s, Gripens too. Gripens are configured to carry much of the key ordnance used across the alliance. Russia will not like Gripens either, the platform is as capable as the F-16 in evasive manouevers and can maintain the same attack envelope as the F-16. This really is not looking good for Russia. They should have pulled out last November instead of laying mines. Expensive mistake.

" Muscovite Empire will Disintegrate in Four Different Ways Reflecting How It was Assembled, Grayevsky Says
Paul Goble
Staunton, Aug. 14 – Most discussions of what the area now occupied by the Russian Federation will look like tend to produce maps showing the area divided up into five, ten or even 100 lands, as if the division was going to take the same form in all parts of the enormous region, the Federation now occupies, Stanislav Grayevsky says.
But in fact, the entities into which this region will devolve, the futurist says, will reflect the four kinds of areas it consists of – non-Russian republics, colonized territories, ‘the Moscow core,’ and a European Novgorod Republic with Petersburg as its most important urban center (region.expert/plurality/).
This four-part division reflects the fact that these parts became part of Muscovy in four different ways, Grayevsky says. And it is critically important to specify that the country now on view is Muscovy because Russia today “in fact has at its foundation not Kyivan Rus or even Vladimir but the Muscovite principality.”
“All of today’s regions, like cabbage leaves, are superimposed on the stalk of the Moscow principality of Ivan III;” and consequently, Grayevsky says, “the futures of the inhabitants of Russia today depend on how carefully we can separate these leaves from this stalk.”
There are four basic groups, he says: “the national republics swallowed up by Muscovia, beginning with the Kazan khanate in 1552 and ending with Tyva in 1944,” “territories which do not have particular nationality basis where the absolute majority of people are the descendants of colonizers,” regions close by to Moscow, and European Novgorod.
Those in the first region are likely to seek independence, those in the second new federations much as breakaway elements of the British Empire did, those in the third may be part of a Muscovy much reduced in size and power, and the final one is likely to become an important democratic Russian state with St. Petersburg as its most important center.
The future of Novgorod is especially interesting because of its past, Grayevsky says. Its absorption by Moscow was a unique case in which “a less culturally and economically developed country swallowed and threw backwards a more developed and pro-European one” and Novgorod in the future will represent a restoration of sorts.
In this scenario, he continues, “Moscow will remain rooted in its horde-like nature, while the Novgorod Republic will continue to develop in such a way that Petersburg will not be a window or even a door to Europe but rather together with the Novgorod Republic become a full-fledged part of Europe.”"

Take a look at the picture. Ask yourself, when the war is over and PTSD Ukrainian soldiers are demobbed, and they return back to their devastated communities and see the pictures of the slaughtered children and their memorials, what do you expect is going to happen? Shrug shoulders and walk on? No. The war crime trials will be recounting the multitude of horrors by Russian terrorists, the rage will grow, the red mist descend and thousands and thousands of enraged Ukrainians will dig up arm stashes, cross the border, take full advantage of the social breakdown in civil war Russia, and exact a bloodbath of revenge on those involved in the horrors in Ukraine. That will include every single Russian that sat on their hands and did nothing to stop the horror. And you've got a generation of it to come. It is 100% unavoidable. As you sow, so shall you reap. Harvest time will be with you soon enough.
Ferdinando Pelazzo, the President of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce has not received any 'gifts' from Russia in any way shape or form trying to get Europe to accept Ruble payments. Nope. Nothing. Nowt. No advantage for Pelazzo in money, cars, property or the bedroom. Not a ding!

Classic Kremlin propaganda spin jnorth! read it again and then cut and paste the bit I refer to mandates. Like BSR, you read words but don't see them. You have such a twisted distorted internal view of the world you blank out reality and exist solely in your private little world. Classic jn, classic.
of course bsr, all those groups were cute innocent friendlies skipping on rainbows, not bombing the hell out of the rest of the world invading neighbours out of spite, murdering thousands at a stroke flying planes into buildings. want a reminder of what angered the west enough to take action - through the un i might add, just look at how the taliban have restored the evil regime. would you send women you know there? no, thought not. where was russia's pursuit of any resolution through the un to sanction war? nowhere to be seen. that is the big difference. the west has previously been reacting to long term naked aggression and eventually took up arms after often years trying to buy solutions in the un. but what did russia do? threw out peace deals, invented a bizarre narrative that would never pass scrutiny at the un and used that as the basis for an all out terrorist attack on a peaceful neighbour - a neighbour they had previously given cast iron security guarantees to in return for giving up nuclear weapons. it has been a con from the start and now it is pay back and russia is going to suffer heavily for at least a generation. all russia has left is a line of mines. that's it. they won't take long to be removed and you'll have 100,000 ****ed off ukrainian soldiers fully armed mental with ptsd and the red rage of revenge heading for the cities of russia. you have no idea what murderous hell awaits. it will be as ugly as hell. and after russia murder yet another child, you frankly all deserve it.
More children murdered by the terrorists of Russia.

And this is another variable about Ukraine that the likes of BSR refuse to accept. This is far, far, far bigger than an enclave conflict in middle Europe. The can of worms Putin opened is far bigger than anything he thought. Daily, even those bought off with cheap oil or favourable seats offered in the new world order are pulling further and further back. China has now almost fallen completely silent, whilst also attending the Saudi conference 100% aware Russia was not invited.
Russia lost a long time ago. They have attempted to draw a line on a map with land mines and fortifications. They only work if they are respected. They are being breached daily. Russia is running out of time to leave Ukraine under its own orders and maintain some slither of hope for rehabilitation in the future. Very soon, and despite the staged elections in the occupied territories, Russia will be humiliated internationally when China issues a direct to order in public at the UN for Russia to withdraw from Ukraine. The only question is whether China will recognise Crimea as Ukrainian or Russian. Currently the soundings are China will order Russia out of Crimea too.
BSR is getting very excited. From the very start there has been a political wing of capitulaters looking for some way to push Ukraine to accept defeat, a lot of that led by the Kremlin propaganda line of 'territorial reality' and other spin. Many on here wished for Ukraine to just give in so poly would magically rebound and the world would just go back to as if nothing happened. The mine fields have protracted the chip, chip, chip phase and this political group of cowards have the spotlight in a news glut. Remember, media wants fireworks, and can get quite vengeful if a 'show' isn't put on for them. All of these lone people have been on Russia's side from the start and all of the spin now is playing on the notion that the counter-offensive should have accomplished this or that by a particular date. As the process is on going, we therefore have the absurd declarations of 'defeat' at the same time as the chip, chip, chip continues opening new incursions and new breaches and the front line is nudged further back against Russia. The vast majority of the battle group has not even been deployed yet. I have good insight and intel on the campaign, it is slowed because Ukraine isn't deploying the Russian tactic of sacrificing numbers for an objective, Ukraine is preserving numbers and employing quality over quantity. The breaches have resulted in river crossings being established and several pontoon bridges now deployed. That is not a signal of an army being defeated, it is the opposite. Some may use the pace as a weak straw to grasp and promote themselves (all of them are available 24/7 for media interview with a copy of their latest book in shot!!), but Ukraine has yet to deploy the main units and until that happens, isolated lone individual unsanctioned voices will get press and BSR will have something to master.bate too on #2months Sunday morning after all!!!
It isn't the quantity, it's the quality. Russia have proved that with their folly. They were up against a small army mostly kitted out with old Soviet kit and a few MANPADS from the west. They also cleverly used little toy drones. Russia threw numbers at it and ended up abandoning most of the invasion and ended up retreating to a land corridor in the south. They have thrown huge numbers into a meat grinder with no gain. They are having to rely on mountains on land mines to slow down the quality army. That is why there is only one conclusion. What quality Russia had has long been sacrificed. The last few technical weapons are flying all over the place up to a km off target. There is no defence to Ukraine's long range deeper and deeper hits. Ukraine made drones have proven Moscow is in range and there is repeatability on targets. Watch that system now ramp up and the dogs of war come down on Moscovite heads this Autum.
Chip, chip, chip, the Russian line is being broken and the vast majority of the main battle group continues to train and get ready.
