Something else to consider when placing a figure on the value of annual sales, is that Benlysta is the sole drug for Lupus at the moment and Glaxo can therefore charge what they like. The only way in for the competition, other than with a far superior drug, is to undercut, but then Glaxo will probably also reduce costs, so the overall value of the market reduces.
This share isn't going to set the world alight with the volume of shares traded, but some nice big buys have gone through over the last few days ready for the Final Results that should be posted this month. Perhaps a Trading Update too?
That trade was from yesterday, 22nd. Buys were going through at 8.30p and sells at 8.12/8.15p so could be either. Coincidentally, there are two 800k trades at the same price (unknown) after hours yesterday.
Doesn't appear to be any regularity in the trading statement releases, last one in January, previously in December, and before that July and September. Fairly random. Have they ever said they would be more specific? i.e. quarterly etc.?
RE: Channel 4 becoming a shareholder12 Apr 2021 16:01
Can't see C4 holding onto these shares, they're not investors, the shares were probably in place of advertising costs, so IMO we will see them sell out asap. Shouldn't take too long to churn through that amount, 2 - 3 weeks? if that.
Don't usually follow TA, nor British Bulls, but they have recommended a buy today at 8.05p. Interestingly, should you have followed their recommendations over the last 2 years and invested just £100 in 2019, you'd have £42,601!
"the company’s broker, has assessed the nascent potential of Evgen and come up with a 29p a share valuation (using a risk-adjusted discounted cash flow calculation) – some 20p more than the current share price."
According to the trading statement on 20th Jan, the company has done just that and turned a corner, going from years of losses to recent profit and money in the bank. Looks like they've weathered the Covid and Brexit storms too. A recent trading range between 50p - 70p and we're at the bottom of that range now. Worth a punt IMO.
