I would have thought Matomy a bit small for Sorrell's needs. Saying that I've bought more S4 shares this morning mainly because I had an odd number after the placing allocation...and I HATE odd numbers of shares..

Yes we are waiting on this trading update with baited breath. If they can show they have turned the corner the SP should be back in the pounds and not pennies.

Yes it's where they are and it's extremely promising.. However, I never underestimate the power of customer inertia or the propensity for people to choose what's on offer from the major players rather than actually choose a better product from an unknown quantity. In the past couple of months I've culled my portfolio down to about 20 holdings..Ethernity is safely installed as my no.1 pick for 2019 and I have cash aside to buy more.

That second instalment of their blog series is a truly encouraging read. They seem to have, either by skill or by luck, placed themselves right in the seeet spot for what people are looking for with edge and 5g networking. I wouldn't go as far as saying we are on a sure winner but things are starting to look really positive. Things can still go wrong - there are obviously going to be good companies clamouring to get a slice of the wallet spend and Ethernity could conspire to balls it up somehow, but out of a pretty gloomy overall market this is a definite bright spot.

I think consolidation with another player is more likely to increase their combined bargaining power. In terms of the China access, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a 'change in control' clause in the contract with Tencent which might make the deal less attractive to another party. Not sure on anyone else's thoughts on this?

Probably the dreaded 'endowment effect' .. bit like George Roach harping on about how much sodding Zulu is worth!

Hi Subito - for me, and I'm sure this is representative of many other investors in the market, the only thing that would get this moving is if any of the investee companies actually sells some stuff that they have dug out of the ground. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I have grown increasingly weary of these piddly little mining companies saying how fantastic their resource is..there's the never-ending rounds of feasibility studies and NPVs and 'world class asset' declarations and to be honest, it's just meaningless. Thankfully I have never owned shares in PREM, but I feel sorry for the poor saps that are - that is clearly never going to produce anything and will just keep swallowing investors money. This is why I said I would sell my shares here if KDNC were selling their stake in BCN. This is really the only company out of the lot that has a realistic near-term chance of actually selling some lithium. Even if KDNC get diluted to 2 or 3%, it will still be a stake in a mining company that actually mines something. Anyway, just my (mildly hungover) Friday morning opinion..

Yep - that 3k buy came through with the condition code OB (Off Book). It's anecdotal evidence but there have been a few more posts with the hashtag ENET on Twitter recently - people like to see a recovery story and some punters starting to get interested. It will attract a few of the 20% crew which is no bad thing.
