New to this Board and this is my first post having recently dipped my toe into the HE dream
The September CA Fund NAV statement only reflects the 30 September value of their various investments (ie at market price). You can't from that information calculate what the original cost of their investment was or infer what their future motives might be. By my calcs, they are carrying HE at 30 September at around 3.65p .... roughly market price. There is, as far as i can see, no way from the NAV statement of ascertaining how much they have written that investment down (or up) by since they original acquired it.
All this speculation about CA average price per share seems to me to be nothing more than 'fingers in the air' and wishful thinking.
I agree with JoeSoap though that they appear, from their recent 'Buys' to have been averaging down.
