I find majority of these institutions agenda driven. Investors will do better by doing exactly the opposite lol
#SHI; v.high vol but limited move higher shows we have sellers in the boggy 30p area that it’s struggled with recently; Friday candle shows this indecision, albeit still trending up/setting higher daily high. Levels in play 26.6p-30p. Breaking 30p is key. 34p, 39p would follow.
As per chart posted by ANT on Twitter.
All of the “bad” is out now and market liked the news. 25p base has formed. So it’s going to be more stabilised from now on. And it’s just a start. I’m expecting 40p in a short term based on fresh cash injection and show of confidence.
Opening at 31p.
What amazes me is that Hammerson knew their options and worked out all of the scenarios of what if(s)? Hence the news is out in the market so quickly. Next step will be cash sorted out and lockdown is going to be eased so businesses will reopen.
Every cloud has a silver lining. Till yesterday we didn’t know about Hammerson’s back up plan and now we know. Tomorrow will bring more good news. So staying very positive here, rescue is on its way. We may have a blue finish on the back of this news. It’s in oversold territory.
This is a very encouraging news. This will give the market a clear message that Hammerson isn’t sitting duck and has worked out and executed plan B already.
Covid19 has impacted almost every single business and retail parks are no exception. But today’s drop is crazy given the business still owns the assets and at current Mcap could well be prime target for a takeover.
If a buyer was willing to pay £400m for selected assets, imagine what the whole portfolio will be valued at in the takeover scenario.
As per some estimates current assets value across the portfolio is circa £10 Billions. Deduct the debt of £2b approx and give any buyer heavy discount... we are looking at 10x return on current Mcap.
I do feel for investors involved from a couple of months ago and before. The share price will surely bounce back and business will turn around as the pandemic won’t be with us forever. Life must go on.
Leon and Colin are building a company here not your back yard winger. No point moaning like wingy kids 24/7 if you aren’t happy then sell n F off... not to hard to understand is it? Platinum is high and jlp is down... what’s the effing point? Jlp was up when platinum was down... that’s the market for you so stop crying.
They got cash from some assets they sold recently and they don't intend to invest the cash anytime soon so returned the value back to the shareholders. That's what I think. Please do your own research.
Thanks for clearing this up. Best of luck.
Hi infinityt, I've invested a few grands in my isa for dividends purpose only. I was reading on some website that incase of special dividend over 25% of the share price ... the settlement for dividends will be one day after the payment date or something like this. All references were American so not sure if the same rule applies in U.K. Normally I have a very good understanding about how dividends work but this one proving to be a difficult one. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks
Daisan not daison... Typo
Daison , you are probably right as there are chances for that. But in case of administration... MNG won't be the only player to have chance to buy it as there are much bigger players / potential buyers in the market. If any third party buys it, MNG will be in loss as they hold majority of the shares currently. So going into an administration isn't the option for MNG (just my opinion, can be wrong).
looks like NO to everyone from their brokers because of complicated nature of the share issuance and very limited time given to the shareholders. So I would go for no vote through my broker.
I have 89k so count my no vote.
the way company is dealing with shareholders is very disgusting. making things even more complicated than they already are instead of putting focus on business development. or they simply just wanna kick out pi's once and for all. question is? if MNG decides to take this company private... where do pi's stand? and what happens to their shares in aureus?
market data tells that sp comes down to almost the same level as the placing. so yeah it may go down in coming weeks / months but will rise again when dust settles down.
what is the advantage (if any) of changing the name of the company? specially from share holders' point of view. is it just re-branding for better image?
