Kat rather than posting antagonistic nonsense go and look at the volumes and posts around the interims. A massive number of trades, a massive number of posters who have not been seen before or since. And a massive number of people who sold based on the fud and therefore missed the rise.

It does indeed massive. But other stuff is far more important.

My point is more that it's not necessarily a meaningful goal but too many people seem to focus on it.

It's emotional and emotion isn't part of good investing.

I was in EUA and Ggp and, although I got out with good profits, it was nowhere near the stellar highs. The emotion of the ride got to me and clouded my judgement.

I've now got small positions in both again as I believe both will make good money medium term.

I never quote exactly James but my remaining holding is a little less than you and your dad.

So if it does follow an ARM trajectory the reward will be substantial.

It won't change my life by itself, but then again I don't need to change my life. It also won't make me a millionaire by itself but that is ok as I largely already enjoy that somewhat meaningless status

James, nobody you can give you advice, they aren't qualified.

My approach, on the rare occasions I get as lucky as GST, it to take out my original stake plus 20% and let the rest carry.

I've already done that here and I'm targeting 5p currently for the next small slice
