Ntw yes look at the trades and how they are timed to the exact second. Then look at the larger trades around them which are nowhere near the same price.

Most traders will simply look at published spread and move on.

I've seen it on a few shares, most notably debs and gst, and within a few days or weeks really big trades pop up
