I use Stockopedia and they are forecasting (@the current share price) a forward p/e of 4.5 and a yield of about 11.5%. Cheers

Interesting article, thanks for sharing. I new that Hunterston has had one of its two units shut down for months due to cracks but I didn’t know about Hinkley. Rumour has it that EDF can’t afford to build Hinkley C... Let’s see what happens

Piece in the Sunday Telegraph today about demand for cheap cars rising.

31% of orders taken by Vertu in April and May have been for cars price at £9,000 or less, an increase of 17% on normal levels.
So some decent business is still happening even if the showrooms are closed.

Anecdotally, a friend of mine who sells second hand motors had his best week ever last week shifting 9 cars in a week and is struggling to source more bottom of the range stock.

Do any of you guys know when the results are for GPH? These shares are either a bargain or the results will disappoint. They seem to have debts... Equity raise/ rights issue perhaps??

I understand that a lot of studies are being done as to the effect of wind turbines. You don’t get something for nothing... If you use the winds energy to turn a turbine that energy is then used so it can affect weather patterns (if you have large numbers). I’ve not looked myself to confirm If it’s true but a guy at work said that they were going to install a large wind farm in the Sahara but rejected the proposal due to the effects it would have on the weather patterns. I guess everyone, including scientists/ engineers are still learning/ gathering data.

Agreed. Regarding the divi, I believe that the prospective divi is 3.9p for the full year. If the earnings come in at consensus then the divi cover is about 8.3...
