But I would question whether these kind of tools really add any significant information when the volumes they are working from are so low. I was tempted to throw some speculative money in this direction again the other day, but settled on HGM instead. Another AIM company, another commodity based company but paying 5% yield.

Expert in Crypto??? That has to be a breach of the trades description act. Don't get me wrong you can make a bundle on Crypto currencies as their fluctuations are so wild. But there is no intrinsic value to a crypto currency, there is no revenue, no income, no yield. The basis of it's value is the confidence in the currency and it's utility to people who can't use normal currency for their desired transactions. To be an expert you surely have to be able to have some skill and insight into a product. With Crypto you could easily say take your money and put it on red. 48% of the time it will double your investment.

I think the dip was very much a shorter led dip. They saw the SP hit a new high since the SFO and naturally thought that all the risk was on holding. At the moment with the Price of Oil, I would be inclined to agree that it feels a bit toppy, but luckily for me I'm not looking to sell in the next few years. So I can watch oil go up and down and for this to float around 600p until we get our next set of results or a big RNS. If oil fell to $50 I'd still hold and just load up on the lower SP.

Just bought into this today on a whim. Have no idea about the company but with 7% yeild couldn't ignore it.

I also use HL. Did try IG, but left them when they introduced no trade fees. I like to buy and hold so being forced to pay for the privilege of holding when I've already paid commission on each trade did not work for me. I also buy funds and I did not think 0.45% was too bad. I just make sure I have a monthly income paying fund that covers the fee.

I'm coming round to the fact that the shorts have as little idea as anyone else. They have been holding their shorts from 400 all the way to 600. So they added a few more Monday and Tuesda, it was hardly a huge move. They just saw the SP breach 600 for the first time in months and so made an educated guess that it was close to a ceiling. We rose on Monday due to the increase in Oil Friday PM after the UK market shut. Monday - Tuesday oil retraced a bit and PFC has done the same. Run a chart from the 16th April and you can see oil up 2.5% and PFC up 7.5%. So a bigger rise and in the last day a bigger fall than oil, but overall still in the right direction. I'm far more gutted that GSK has retraced today on a decent set of quarterly results. I was going to cash some in at 9am this morning but though no I'll hold. Idiot!!!!

Nice little jump

It's always a tough call about when to invest. At the moment all my capital is deployed so when I fancied a deal at 602 I couldn't jump on it without selling something else. For me it's about investing for 20 years time. And this share feels like a good return. Even if I just take the dividend at its current value it will return 80% over 20 years. In that time I expect a bit of capital movement too.

I'm tempted again now.

Even with today's stagnant performance you look back one month and it's a 20% increase, compared to about a 5% increase in oil. Most of that tracks back to the disastrous RNS in Feb. Which now I come to think about it whilst yes completely pointless and damaging to the company was of huge benefit to me as it allowed me to reduce my average by over 100p. So thanks investor relations.

It's handy to track the trend from a buying position but it really only tells you what someone thought in the past. I'm surprised they are still holding shorts at this level as it's going to start costing them a fair whack if this keeps rising.

650 will do nicely. 650 was my original average SP, before trading it down to 530's. Can beat a bit of luck. If I had kept my trades in place along side my more long term holding, today I would have wiped out all my share losses over the last 5 years. Come on PFC, happy days.

Roughly a 30p or 5% upgrade. Wonder if it will start to shake the tree for a few shorts.

We should have broken 600 last week IMHO. So a belated rise but welcome all the same. All helps to add a few more pounds to the pot. Even with the dividend this could now hold above 600

I think the SFO has a few impacts on the share price. There is the literal impact of any fine drawing cash out of the business. There is the reduced dividend to put the company in a place to fight and pay any fine. There is the potential hit to revenue by reduce contract wins whilst under investigation. Together they probably put 600 - 660 as a fair value for me. However, if the company keeps winning contracts despite the SFO investigation, then that has the potential to boost the SP. Also if the company starts to increase the dividend that will in turn lift the SP. Leaving just the cash value of any fine if one is given. Which given this shares previous record could put it anywhere near 900. So if you are buying on face value the yes its a fairish price. But who buys shares based on face value? You have to buy on the potential to grow.
