I wonder if those "prudent" enough to sell their large share holdings yesterday (and earlier in the week) have bought back in today.
They may be put off by the time scale til the next drill and put their money to work elsewhere.
The advantages of being in the know.
harpmandoodle,
"30 years away from that (Helium) supply point."
You must be one of those short term traders I keep on hearing about.
I will be pushing up the daisies by the time Helium is produced via nuclear fusion - and if that happens to be a paupers grave then He.1 will partially be to blame.
The BBC reports today
"A US science institute is on the verge of achieving a longstanding goal in nuclear fusion research.
The National Ignition Facility uses a powerful laser to heat and compress hydrogen fuel, initiating fusion.
An experiment suggests the goal of "ignition", where the energy released by fusion exceeds that delivered by the laser, is now within touching distance.
Harnessing fusion, the process that powers the Sun, could provide a limitless, clean energy source."
And also a limitless supply of Helium.
HE.1 better start drilling that next hole quick.
If I were interviewing David Minchin today the first question I would ask is -
How will your next drill differ from the first and, more specifically, how do you intend to try and stop/minimize the number of washouts ?
I had a very nice hangover thank you. My alcohol infused post has disappeared. Whatever happened to freedom of speech? I remember using several swear words regarding Ader - the man on the board of directors of Sands! Apparently Rittvo (one of Ader's prospective BPTY directors) has also had dealings with Sheldon Adelson. I definitely remember saying that Kamal17's posts were long winded. Thank goodness you only have a max of three thousand characters per post on this bb. Do you have a twitter account Kamal?
Closed all my bpty spread bets today. Continue to hold all my real bpty shares.
Rational: Cost base reduced by 70 million euros. Expect another 20 million euros of savings in 2014. Party in NJ, market leader. Expect other states to follow. New manager in place (from Pokerstars) to oversee poker. Senior IT management replaced. New mobile platform/ products up and running. Share buy back, dividend paid. Yield per player up - except bingo. 2014 is a World Cup year. BPTY had said they expected their revenues to be down by around 16% in 2013 (mainly due to having to pay tax in Germany) - roughly on track - and expect to return to growth in 2014.
So Kamel you think the price will continue a downward trend for the next two quarters - but not sure if it will go lower than a 105p -110p range (so might fall by 2p or 7p!)- and the price should rise for a few weeks this month - but the price will definitely not go higher than 135p this year - wishful to think otherwise. Well I look forward to reminding you of your prediction, when the price passes through the (as I predict) 135p level.
