I'm seeing buys posted for 13.40 yet the price keeps ticking down
I think the brand alone should be priced in the millions
Dunno if there will be a 'big' sell off. Yeah day traders but people know investors dont wanna buy a stock 80% down. Tomorrow that big 80% wont be there. People may pile in
If we keep going it's a 20p finish, though doubt it will go all the way this afternoon. 30p tomorrow though
Because there was a massive dump of stock. A lot from stop losses & panic etc. Now people are going to be hovering them up and up and up and up
I hope its a bug, but on HL trades by volume shows 3 sells worth £140k at.....4p! Thats wounding
I agree, there's a strong chance of a takeover bid. Eddie Stobart's Goodwill is worth a lot on its own. Never mind all the assets. Great punt
Having a punt on this, the balance sheet alone makes me think £30m market cap is far too low
I fear people may be selling due to Covid-19. The rest of the market yeah sure, passive funds definitely. But companies most hurt by this are those fully operating and generating earnings. A firm at this stage doesnt have to worry so much. Down the line yes ORCP would have to worry as we'd have to close operations and tell employees to isolate but that isnt where ORCP is yet. This is a pretty defensive stock as well due to power not being cyclical, people will always need power!
There has been some big buys this morning. I think most sellers misread the RNS - I did at first - the meeting originally meant for mid 2020 is being brought forward; this project is being viewed as a priority by the Chinese. Further to that we still have news to come soon, I think a lot of the sells are people who are either chasing rainbows or misunderstood the RNS. Still a hold but it's understandably frustrating.
I think Claza was supporting you Casper. It's Starbuck, he was like this last time, de-ramping then all of a sudden once the price has dropped (and they've bought in) they unsurprisingly become bullish
