Seems insane that after positive news in Nov/Dec the Market Cap has pretty much halved since then. £13.60m on a firm that is likely to have a 12% stake in a multi billion project makes no sense. Feel like a lot of AIM investors treat the market like a roller coaster and pay zero attention to market cap and the value of firm. Guess it means the strong will ultimately win they just have to deal with unnecessary volatility. Doesn't make it any less frustrating and makes AIM look like a Casino

I agree Shatner. I think its mostly down to Spikes in AIM that are something you don't see in the main markets like the FTSE/NASDAQ (bar Tilrey/Beyond Meat/Tesla [soon]. But I think we must move away from this RNS culture and investors must stop saying news is coming tomorrow, it comes when it comes, you invest in a business not news. Plus yeah I agree with you're overall sentiment, AIM is high risk, people need to chill about swings, high risk = high volatility

I get what you mean Duster but it's AIM, you have to hold your nerve. My first investment in AIM was Earthport, I loved their business model but it just kept going down, was down 50% at one point but kept my nerve and Visa saw the value and put in a bid. Made 270% in the end. I actually sold and MasterCard also put in a bid and it went up another 100% from where I sold if I remember correctly. It's just AIM, even if your 50% down you can still be right, you just need the patience and to block out the noise

Beaub11's post isnt completely nonsensical - there's packets of decent analysis in there. One thing I will say is you invest for the future. Using the original posters logic you would not only get to the party late, you'd arrive as the room is being tidied up. Investors look at future value. So saying the whole project will take time, well yes! That's why I've bought in now. One of the reasons ORCP has gained traction is its tiny marketcap compared to it's potential. Yes dividends would be a good criticism if this stock wasnt so cheap. Many investors in ORCP as value investors. This is like buying a Aston Martin and 10K when it will be 100K in 5 years. You'll be able to sell that Aston for many times its value before the finish products in 5 years when its work 100k. This is the very basics of value investing
