@NO FEAR
You have lost all credibility
Wishful thinking, the wild guesser and the daily takeover conspiracy theories????
All belongs to the far out Dave_1cke school of thinking
Remember that all share takeover deal that was meant to have happened weeks ago ???
Yet another baseless statement.....
Most sensible people can see this share and company are not going anywhere quick. All ears and eyes on ESS news.
Given no fear has made even more ridiculous false predictions this week.....he hasnt got a clue.
There's always a spare seat on the moonship. You guys wont make it to Budapest. The closest your going to get is the local Starbucks.....
Quote NoFear 3rd Nov 13.25 SP @ 24.78pence
"We will be up towards the mid' 30s by the enf of the week"
Well, we're at the end of the week and the SP ended up 24.09 (down even from 24.78 @point of quote)
Zero Credibility and no fears rocket fuel won't even make it to Budapest
@Owls
Stalkers !!! Think you nailed it LOL
On a more serious note next few days will no doubt be hinging on which way the US elections go. The lockdown in UK may also extend beyond 2nd Dec.
Lets see how the market and CPI fare in the next few days
@blacksheep
Looking back at this company's history it seems when you were there they were very much at the peak of their powers where acquisition was the main growth path.
Things appear to have changed significantly in recent years with major changes in strategy.
@pshy
Good insight and it sounds about right. A few weeks ago I said if they managed to get around £350m for ESS they would have done well. That was with 2 suitors still in the mix taking into account competitive bidding.
I think there was only one serious bidder at final call so your call of £250-£300m makes sense.
The delay as you say is probably due to them mulling over whether to accept or not.
@Owls
If I recall he's a low grade capita employee and his interest is via an employee share save scheme at an average of £1.10 ?
His shockingly shallow knowledge of CPI was immediately apparent (didnt even know the basics). His consistently poor advice has all been eminently laughable and abusive ever since.
He's at least 80% in the red, probably wishing others end up in the same predicament as him. I guess he's looking for a perverse sense of comfort.
Incredibly nasty character indeed, just pull the flush (you may need to do it more than twice with this one)
This new lockdown is not great news for this stock.
On the US side Biden/Trump could have a massive impact this week. Rough ride coming.....
@Owls
Ignore this guy, I made no such comment whatsoever. His posts are just laughable desperate rants, abusive and constant utter nonsense.
Drowning man with a broken portfolio and zero credibility. He must be at least 80% down on this stock. Never called anything right on thos thread ever. Empty vessel making pointless noises. They dont call him Average_1 for nothing LOL
Just stick him in the filter and pull the flush......
@Owls
You are correct. The high beta indicates volatility that up until a couple of months ago offered up lucrative day trading potential.
Problem is as you say all the momentum has been down. Its reached a point where SP is in pitiful status now.
No fear, you must be busted on this one by now. How big is the hole now ? Down £30k + in a month??
@isalingebruik
Agree, there is no sense taking over the whole establishment.
There is some sense in a break up and piecemeal approach. You wouldn't take over the whole company to do that.
Trytobuylow is right about management team. This company has clearly been mismanaged and run into the ground through incompetence.
I suspect the major shareholders will vote out the management and instil a new BoD
@isalingebruik
Reg was banking on a takeover since last week. He was absolutely convinced.
Its not happened for him.....
Can't see it myself, the price is tanking. If there was anyone interested they will wait until it hits the bottom. Who knows what that bottom is right now !
@trytobuylow
They moved into the old Copywright Building 2016 in a no break 20yr lease deal.
That would have been a huge expense kitting out that building so to write it off within 3-4 years is a big hit.
Whilst they are shutting provincial offices to save costs, its a different thing to shut down your main flagship Head Office.
It sends out a terrible message. They are definitely in serious trouble.
