I contribute facts CTC and counter arguments, and provide sources and links. You provide absolutely nothing and are rude and beligerant in every post you make aimed at me. not at all ceejay, holding long and strong, but I'm just proffering a different angle, because the nickel mine business has come along now, indicating a sale there, and because I believe MT and flanks is gone already to NN but not yet announced, yes, they might still go the special route, but I find it interesting that they just had that BOD meeting and voted on the resolution regarding 80%, and all I am saying is that if they carve it up, I believe they could announce the sales as interim divis, in which case there would be no vote, and they are in full control, and they could say the divi is payable on the date they met and made the decision. I believe this is possible as long as they record it accurately but I'm asking if there is a tax specialist out there who knows if this is right, as that is how I am reading it from stuff I am finding on the internet. If people would do their own research and come up with links it would help but when people just say no you can't and don't back it up, it doesn't help. Look at payment of interim divis. I'm not saying they will do this, but it could be a possibility that's all.

I've just posted the matthey special dividend circular as an aid for people to get a taste of what might come for us, but by the same token, I believe the company may be carving up the assets and so they do not need to announce one complete sale, they can do it in parts, in which case they can announce interim divis as I see it, and if they did that, then they wouldn't need a shareholder vote. OSF, if they knew they had an agreement in principle for say the sale of those mines containing the nickel only, but the funds were not yet to hand, but they had a meeting and passed a resolution in readiness, stipulating they have agreed to whatever percentage which will paid on or before whatever date, then I believe they can say it is at the date of the resolution that is passed because it's entirely in their hands. They then pay that dividend once signed sealed and delivered, that then takes the sp up nicely, ready for the next announcement wherein they will have another meeting and pass a resolution to pay so much divi out of the net proceeds of sale and on a certain date. That way they have total control, and they decide, and it works on an interim divi basis because of the sale of parts, but I'm not a tax expert nor financial advisor/accountant, and I'd really like the input of someone who is, because this is the other way I understand they could play it, but as I say, I could be wrong!

the company said it wanted to look after its shareholders, and I believe that is what they will do, they will look after those longer term, but I'm not so sure they will do so when it comes to those who just jump on the bandwagon to try and make a quick gain. Whilst they originally mentioned a special dividend, the goalposts could have changed, and its quite possible a sale of parts will occur, in which case it could be interim dividends, the dates of which will be in accordance with how the BOD want to play this. There is nothing set in stone to say it will be an actual special dividend as yet, if the sale(s) go ahead of course.

depends how they declare it, I believe with an interim dividend they can, and it could be interim if they sell in parts, in which case they could provide the date as the date of the resolution, but I'm not a tax expert nor financial advisor so please do your own research however, that said, I hope it goes more along the lines of this;

or the date the resolution was made, which has already gone, or no date if less than 75% assets, as Board will just announce the price and who it will be paid to as per what they decided at the meeting to pass the resolution.

NN will have taken Montechundra and flanks, they can afford that, and Potanin wants the palladium for his palladium bars! I'm sure Musk has been involved in the nickel side, but he does state he will give a long contract to whoever can mine nickel sustainably etc, so that poses a big ? over NN for that, so could it be Musk will buy it, and we'll mine it for him as an offtake agreement for us within EUAv2? I'd be surprised if Musk hasn't taken it, as he said he wants nickel from wherever it can be obtained, and he'll pay a hefty price for it, and his tweet last autumn saying he would invade Russia in the summer time, still remains a mystery as to why he posted it to me! Hydrogen and Ammonia in EUAv2 will be heading to the Far East with lucrative contracts in abundance.
