Great news from GF this morning Buys are 3 to 2 against sells so why does the share price drop

Hopefully this will be reversed during the day and we can look forward to a few weeks of positive gains.

Will be back in the market tomorrow once things settle down

Did a little purchase yesterday before this announcement which on the face of it is very good news. interesting to reflect that 4 years ago this would have doubled the share price today we get a tiny lift .to my mind this will continue to be the case until such time that we get to see some gold or at least some positive assay results, the waste tip trials will be useful in this respect inasmuch that what was previously left behind is useful indicator of the fuller potential.

I will keep dipping in over the next few weeks!

Fine might just be right when we finally get to see the gold. Does any body know what progress is being made on the spoil heaps which would provide some pretty quickly!

Step back 3 weeks when on 30 Jan KB purchases 12121 shares @230.72 followed on 02 Feb when WF purchases 20052 shares @225.17. Like us they are not doing so to lose money and my guess is they know just a little more about the ongoing potential of this business and what is in the pipeline so my suggestion would be to hold and be patient. Currently losing money on these for the first time but still would not consider selling!

Sorry to everybody it was not my intention to start a political debate merely to clarify the longer term value in the assets which I personally see as being relatively strong

I don't know the answer to this but hopefully somebody will. in the event of a labour victory at the polls and subsequent ban on oil exploration licences does this make the existing ones more or less valuable?

There is a simple message here don't be greedy bought these years ago at 1.60 and watched them rise to one 1500. I was told years ago to sell half once any investment doubled that way you end up with shares at nil cost so to all the doubters just wait for 340 then cut and run.

I am confident enough in hydrogen technology (which is not just a dream) to sit there for the longer term benefits which I hope will happen BUT there are no guarantees in life

It is worthy of mention that shares like Ceres are all about the future not the present, Personally I have never bought shares in any business to make a fast buck and Ceres is no different .they are genuine long term hold and a business with great long term future and as previously stated the next deal will give an immediate lift to the share price so just be patient and enjoy the ride.

Having held these shares now for a few years it has been an interesting ride watching them go from180 to over 1500 and dropping back to 150ish.

The same fundamentals apply that this is NEW technology but the concept is now proven and accepted more so than it was 5 years ago and this will probably be followed by more deals given this deal drove the share price up by over 40% then the future looks pretty rosy to my eyes!

Lets hope that the info now available both on Greenroc and Alba all of which is positive leads to a new year rally .Held these for years now and seen the run to a 15 fold increase and then fall back to todays price so hopefully the only way is up

Bought a further 739200@0.2165 at 8.02 this AM just wonder why this isn't showing up in trades? Any ideas?

Most of my previous posts have highlighted the fact that the real assets of this business lie in the Greenland assets of which we still own over 50%.
My other emphasis has been on patience, investing for me has always been long term so if folk investigate and research businesses properly they are happy to sit back and wait for things to happen. Greenland is now very much a go go situation with funding in place to make things happen ( put in place by the Alba board) Time to stop sniping and moaning about the minutiae and just be patient, Good things come to he who waits!

Just can't understand a spread of close to 30% certainly little if any incentive for folk to buy in whilst this is so wide! How do these things get set and by whom.
Come on get this sorted all of us who have been around a while know the price is ready to jump again so let's help it on its way please

For 0.033 read 0.33

Wouldn't we all however in the short term it would be good to see 0.033 and break even for me.

Tried to buy another half million on Thursday @.16 (at which time the sp was down 0.02 ) but no offers.
Looks like there is some resistance to sell at lower levels which is great news.
Incidentally I could have bought @0.17 ! Guess it will be a long time before we see that price again .
Now a strong hold and a buy on any good news .looking for 0.3 within the next month

There are many of us who have always asserted that the real value in Alba was in the Greenland assets.What price the doubters now. Some of us too have always remained positive and stayed with the shares as a long term investment. Hope that the 2p forecasters have it right but don't expect it to happen overnight. Well done to the directors for putting their money in st this stage.

Rome was not built in a day, however, look where it ended up!As I have repeatedly said , patience will prove its own reward so hang on in there. The next announcement ought to be about the dewatering permit or in abstentions then Plan B!
I am sure that the board are as anxious as we to reach a successful outcome and disappointed as we all are in the last 12 months there are still many positives about this business not the least of which is the 50% plus holding in Greenroc which now has the finance in place to take it forward.
So although not quite wielding picks and shovels there is some work going on in the background!

Patience people, really need to forget the emotion and poor sentiment and concentrate on the facts
1 you could have bought in at 0.005p 14 months ago
2 you could have sold at 0.56p 7 months ago
3 short of obtaining an abstraction licence nothing much on the negative
4 lots of positives on reserves and potential mineral bodies both here and greenroc.
5 I guess then this comes down to confidence in the board of directors so over to you guys to give us some encouraging news and start showing us that you mean business . We have been patient a long time
6 you have to feel for the folks who bought in 12p many years ago ( yes I know this was before the existing board appeared on the scene but there must have been some logic in the share price at the time.
Just not the right time to leave ( spoken with some feeling as my holding is now down 60%)

2022 cannot be worse than 2021 in terms of Alba, time is on our side as I have said a few times we just need to be patient, hopefully as I did last year I can find. Future or similar which compensates somewhat.
