Maybe in September people might actually started holding for more than 10% or recognise some good finds. How on earth did this ride to 1.8 recently but now can't get past 0.55. Utterly ridiculous.

The whole sector is down, not much to do with xtract. ORR have released two positive RNSs yesterday and today, to very little effect. 6-12 months value will be realised in AIM miners which have good potential/sell on value, XTR presumably one of these, dependent on the phase 2 programme.

I would agree that the lack of info re drill locations is a bit frustrating. My other miner released assays yesterday and alongside it came a 4 page PDF showing maps of drill locations for investors to analyse. Admittedly we aren't at the assay stage yet. Colin, if you're reading this, please make sure assays are accompanied with drill locations and maps please! This is the very least we deserve!

I can't complain about these results - they suggest a large ish system of gold. Not high grade but we've had the high grade in previous drilling. The 70m of continuous mineralisation is impressive.

I'm also impressed with the speed at which assays were returned. Maybe IAMGOLD have their own lab...

Tbh I'm a little disappointed by the lack of significant result in Madina Bafe. But I am always more positive when I remember that it's not really in IAM's interest to find huge veins at high grades. The more they find, the more support we have from the market and less dependence on them. TL has mentioned the issue with the JV before..

Anyway, onwards and upwards and looking forward to more positive RC results before the end of the month!

Dogefather, I think we've been here before. The market doesn't understand the situation here. It understood CB's descriptions of cathedrals , avocados and sideways cigars and also the 900m of continuous mineralisation. However, we are now in a very nuanced stage where even the LTH are scratching their heads trying to work out what we have.

The market will wake up one day and finally understand when we have one of these:

A) assays with lots of Gold, as per Ella's wishes.
B) JORC with double, treble or more current amounts of copper.
C) Approach from Anglo or another Major/mid tier.
D) Bonanza RNS about Eureka IOCG.

A could happen within 2 months, B and C mid to long term possibilities and D at any time as we have no idea what they're doing out there.

In the meantime, we will probably continue to scratch our heads and learn more from iceberg's blog than the official RNSs. All kudos to Iceberg.

Echo, the MMs are a joke. If this was flipped and the buys were sells etc., we would easily be down 15%+. So often on AIM you see MMs take the sp down 10% on tiny volume. There are hardly any sells here is should be 9.5p at least!

Not much of an update - I guess they've included bits about Cameroon drilling.

Looking forward to results from stream sampling and Senala in the next month or two. Should help to boost the sp during the wet season then we can kick on with more drilling in Bibemi/Wapouze when it's dry.

Has attention shifted away from achieving 2MT then? I feel like the average PI and institution would understand us trying to hit the 2MT part of the AA buyback clause, less so the "decision to mine" part. I hope we don't ignore that target entirely...

How would you get quoted 7.6 to sell 35k at 4.15pm? Has to be a buy or the ask would have been 7.8 or 7.9.

The RNS is not negative; it doesn't state we have something unviable, rather it proves the need for more tonnage and at shallow depths (<600m and ideally greater than 0.2%).

What I don't understand was the point of paying probably a decent amount of money for a study which didn't include data obtained from Phase 1. Why not wait until the end of phase 2 to include the drilling figures, or at the very least include information on the viability of the project at different tonnages. That way, we can assess how much tonnage we need to find in phase 2.

Personally the RNS doesn't really add anything. No reason to buy or sell.

Bring on the next one which tells us copper mineralisation is a mirror image on the other side of the saddle ;)
