I think it’s worth remembering that AS have to plot the best way forward for the company and what Jive suggests in that example is a canny way of getting there. It would also be good brinksmanship if bigger fish were circling looking to swallow them up whole. I know if I was in that kind of position I’d be talking about all the deals and partnerships. AS has always said there are no published studies, I suspect they have a fair idea how much standard dox gets into tumours. 50 years of a drug being on the market and nobody has measured the amount in tumours seems unlikely to me. Nobody has published a peer reviewed paper. I can see why having a standard dox comparison in P1b will make a solid indisputable data set

Great point pigster, if the concentration of dox in the tumour is unknown under dox I’d imagine this could well be the case. My impression when Al was talking about this though, was that there were ‘ no published papers’ about the these dox levels. I’m sure they know already what these are though, just no empirical peer reviewed paper .
