While your estimations are admirable, rather than theorycrafting I'd rather go more with the fact that they said it was inline with what had previously been announced. If it was less they would need to announce it to the market
With atlas stood aside and the heightened copper price, I wouldn't be surprised to see the mine break even after 2nd month. and profiting in the 3rd but that's just imo. I'll never say never as it's VAST after all but i'd like to think we are in a decent position to not have anymore raises for mine operation. Once we have some cash flowing in I expect them to have a mix of paying down debt where needed then increasing their output with additional capacity for the other metal extractions and with copper prices going as they are I wouldn't be surprised to see them up the copper output. The next year is going to define this company and bring it into a new league, lets hope they get it right.
Not forgetting diamonds potentially popping back onto the scene when Zimb finally comes out of lockdown but i'm not holding my breath
I agree with the timeline sandy and wouldnt be surprised on the update that the mine is running in profit, seems like an easy win.
I also didn't mind the IG interview, PI's getting peeved that AP wants II involved need to realise they are small fish in a big bond. II buying power can push the SP closer to its true value compared to large PI buys which is what he was getting at.
Weird you'd wait till the day before to sell seen as you are already out apparently...

Great news after years of waiting. Great moment.
But the share price doesn’t move. Unbelievable.
Quite frankly what an anticlimax.
Everyone I presume if they are honest is thinking the same.
Companies can jump on news they have bought a truck.
Vast prudence hundreds of thousands of concentrate ?? and nothing.
I wish you all well. I’m out.
Buko ofc its price sensitive for both parties involved, but given that we have released the figures in a previous RNS with the next 2 years estimated earnings and todays RNS states that it was completed in line with that then its not hard to deduce a somewhat accurate estimation of how much they got paid for the shipment.
I only caught the last 3-4 mins of it and then went to replay it for the beginning and it was gone.
Heres what I heard;
-Will only report on sales if they miss targets as that would need to be announced otherwise it will be covered in quartley/half year updates
-Can't release the value/amount of offtake as this is commercially sensitive for the offtaker
-Still work going on by both VAST and the banking institution and both sides positive that they will meet the previously announced target milestones

Its almost if the "inline with expectations" refers to the previously RNS'd sale information.....stop needing to be spoonfed information
What makes you think 2nd delivery will be delayed? The mine didn't just stop while we awaited collection of the first shipment, I wouldn't be surprised to see 2nd shipment go out the door by mid December but that just IMO.
The sale was effectively priced due to it being announced a while back, not to mention the obvious churn of placing shares going on. The SP will move when it wants to, the market is generally quite irrational and breakouts seemingly happen for no reason at all. What this does is concrete the current SP and providing no terrible news I expect this to be the new bottom
More proof that Ford was just a day trader looking for a quick buck under the guise of a LTH? Company just made their first sale from a mine they have been working to get producing for the last year and you sell because the SP didn't move? YIKES
Binding sheet expected this week or next, confirmation of 2nd sale, finance deal concluded at some point in Dec. Off we go
