Sheepofwallst, if I had a spare £500 million, I would hoover all the shares up at 14:60. Then loan them the money and watch the price rise...or have I oversimplified it? :-)

I wonder if the bonds were smaller there would be a larger interest. Maybe if they were say £100k a time would there be a rush for them. It would certainly beat the the return on 5 isa accounts over the term of the bond.

Going to need some large buys to drag it back up and there doesn’t seem to be rush to purchase.....

Overheard a conversation in a local pub a few weeks ago. Called in for a warm up drink on my retirement evening out last week and strangely the same loud lot were in. Couldn’t see them over the screen but heard the gist of the chat. May be alcohol fuelled rubbish but you never know. Sounded from the tone that the company was very busy and that everyone was very happy. You don’t hear that often from a workforce! And who doesn’t like a pub rumour....it just has to be right. :-)

Nope. I’m happy. In my mind thats all that counts. I certainly would not advocate it for anyone else. My kids used to roll their eyes and touch their heads behind my back( yes we have windows that reflect) and think I didn’t know. 12 months down the road,all 3 are in. They have slowly stopped laughing and started looking at what they MAY have in 40 years. Keeps me amus3d....wel that and Whitley Neill.

15 lives, correct for me. Adrenaline. Continual ups and downs. Makes my life ...well ...a life. Not for everyone. The research is everything. For example, the “ tip” I overheard sounded a bit vague. It turns out they can install car charging points onto electrical networks owned by network operators . No mean feat. The hurdles to obtain such a licence are difficult to jump. The more I read the more I was drwn in. For me it was worth a shot...for others.... not even on their investment horizon.

I’m inclined to agree 15lives. I had everything in Sirius. Moved some to Scotgold and lloyds. Made in lloyds and stuck it back in Sirius. Just put some in fulcrum from” a tip” and if it makes it’s going in Sirius. I’ll stick with the Scotgold cos it’s a mini Sirius. A mine up against the odds in a National park with an excellent proposition for the local economy. That too is almost at the final hurdle. But, even if I lose, it’s been a hell of a ride!

I retired only to be told my hearts a iffy. Therefore, same as you... I must work hard to get their pension fund. I’m in the gym 3 days a week. Long walks 2 days aweek. In addition I have now made shares a hobby. If it makes money it’s a bonus. I f I break even it keeps me happy. But I am having the 46 years Ihave paid in. Get stuck-in there young man and have what you’ve earned!,,,

I would not be the least surprised to find out that Fulcrum have made a few million more profit than we may think. Interesting weeks ahead.

In addition Roobans I think you are spot on with fast movement. It’s like one of those cheap catapult model aircraft at the moment whereby each day that passes the rubber band gets pulled further back....... in our casethe tunnel moves on,the shafts get sunk, the galliway gets erected and all 5he infrastructure relentlessly gets construcred, and then an rns comes that says “ bonds gone” and the elastic is released......get ready. If you are out when it moves you won’t get in at 15p. All in my opinion of course.

Heaven forbid the suggestion that City is allegedly corrupt. Strangely I overheard a loud alcohol fuelled conversation in a pub in Sheffield that seemed to imply knowledge of an upward movement of a certain local company thats extremely undervalued at the moment. Not Sirius but I had a quick nibble anyway. I was once privvy (500 of us actually) to an excellent tip which turned into a 10 bagger in 12 months. I think they were guessing. ;-)

Canetois, exactly my point. Buy the sold ones and hang on to them. Only way to get them off you is at a higher price. Supply and demand in its simplest form. It’s the nervous ones keeping the market fed with cheap shares. Once they stop.... upwards we go.
