i was working near Greenhill in Sheffield and a poor guy rolled his electric disability scooter in a pot hole whilst crossing the road. Took 2 of us to to get him rolled back. If he had crossed 50 yards further up the road it was already resurfaced and beautifully smooth. Not be my first popped tyre in this area. I think they behind with spend due the tree cutting and felling as it started as a 5 year 5 billion programme. Heaven knows if it will ever get completed.

You’re certainly right about the roads. Sheffield council have spent £5billion resurfacing every road in the City. It’s taken 5 years So as long as I stay in the area I should be ok. Average speed should be about 5mph due to congestion. The Raleigh pedal car at I had for my 5th birthday could beat that!

I’m going “made in Britain”. And you are right about the physio. I reckon in my present state of health and my age they need to crack on or I’ll be changing plans to something softer and comfier.

My average at the last check I think was about 23 ish. I keep adding monthly. Steady away wins the race. We’re almost there!:-)

Correct there dadean. My kids are now getting a 1000 a month for their £100 subs. Makes me look amateur! Specially when I tell them to get in at 8.84 and they tell me to leave it to them and then tell me that they got shares at 7.98. Me?... I was still throwing money in at nearly 40p. :-(

Looks as though the poly 4 bashing is accelerating. More blue days will bring more bashing as panic ensues. I find it fairly amusing that it’s done so openly and with conviction. Chem posts the excellent results for all to see and the bashers reply. I suppose it gives us something to read, even if it’s tripe.

The finance person at John Hollands says not to buy the Mclaren. Lease it and pay with divis. Keep the capital. All to do with disposable income. Use other peoples money! I bow to their superior financial wisdom. Time will tell.

When they get to a quid I’m having a Mclaren. The kids get the rest. For my sake I hope they get a move on or I’ll not get into the car. The rheumatoid and angina will bl***y win. :-)

I’ve started buying investment books and biographies of famous investors to read at night. At the moment I manage 2 pages and nod off. Better than my Zopiclone. I’m hoping some sinks in but We’ll see. I’m not sure how a 62 year old brain deals with the stock market.

Xxdodgerxx, in my previous life I had numerous dealing with the National parks authorities and A.O.N.B. They do indeed hold all the trump cards. I for one would leave the meetings in despair and have to sit 10 minutes in my car to calm down before I could drive. Fortunately Sirius, through extremely hard work and many frustrations, have managed to forge a good relationship which seems to be working. You’re right in that that you have to give( sometimes till it hurts) but you need to give to receive. It seems to work for us at the moment. Long may it continue. Because if I can promise you one thing, the first time you upset them ..... you are royally stuffed and there will be so many obstacles you will NEVER clear them.

As each day passes and the progress leaps forward, because it does leap, I am becoming more like Jonesrichard in that optimism is taking over. I’m usually a bit reserved or glass half full but the more I read his posts the more I see his point of view. I have never watched a project like this one move so quickly or be so well organised in my life. That being the case, my confidence builds on a daily basis. I can’t wait for the next quarterly update simply because I think we are all in for a shock because I reckon we are going to much further progressed than we imagine. :-)
