VS..If you are talking late stage deals (ie beyond sales, purchasing and scientists chin wags), then yes the CFO will be involved. CFO's are also heavily involved with listings etc. He will be there to explain the companies financial position and to answer any questions regarding debts etc, The same goes for major investors...they will want to dig deeper into the companies finances too before dipping into their deep pockets. I did point out that several Royalty investment companies were attending and they will certainly want to know what deals are likely, together with dual listing timescales. Any company handing over large amounts of dosh will certainly want to meet the chap who holds the safe keys. On the other hand our CFO should also gain a lot of insight from meetings/discussions too - as long as he meets the right people and asks the right questions...haha
