I'd be surprised if BMN are/have been stockpiling to hedge the low V price...perhaps a bit to cover any power outages...they're more likely servicing their customers (old and new) as needed and supplying Vanchem to keep the kiln fed there and perhaps will start to up stocks as and when 2nd kiln is ready to be bought on stream and likewise when the electrolyte plant is ready to be fed...income is income right now and we still need a few more jigsaw pieces to fall into place. As has been said, the shipping records have been healthy. Now if they have been stockpiling then Q4 production output and sales should both be great but income levels not so good simply due to the lower V price. Hopefully some fixed price contracts should help support the bottom line.

If news re Avalon/RedT is due latest Friday to avoid delisting, what's the likelyhood they will push out Q4 Update at the same time or will they keep the two separate and wait until 31 Jan. Either way, I suspect we will get some news on something before the month closes out...

Big difference between Meyer thinking they will and him actually knowing they will. Quite frankly I was surprised at how little Meyer really understands about the companies he bangs on about. He's a financial analyst not a visionary like the guys at BMN. Now if BMN did spin off BE it would be to create shareholder value not a quick buck sale. If BMN feel the company as one is only ever going to be seen as a miner and the SP tagged to the V price then perhaps there would be a case to spin it out as a stand alone and perhaps that's what he meant. They could perhaps also split the V production with V for steel in the mining side of the business and V for electrolyte in the BE side. In fact thinking about it, they could create a bit of a synergy by doing so.
Hey ho...lets get BE bringing in the bacon first. Electrolyte and Battery assembly facilities to complete first...plus some order taking wouldn't go amiss...

Faramog...even if he was privvy to such info he wouldn't be able to release it to the wider markets because at that point he'd be 'inside' and that's why its up to the company to release the 'numbers' to the markets as a whole via their official results RNSs so that nobody gains an unfair advantage.
He did say they know BMN is looking to add significant value to the company based on the various projects they are working on/have in the pipeline but he would be guessing without the official numbers.

I spoke to Meyer about that and he said they needed 'numbers'... Hopefully we might get some projections in this set of numbers to allow brokers and market to reassess their valuations...

Not really...because battery technology is only just catching up. Many of these wind farms were constructed without battery back up. Yes we all want more sustainable energy generation but there is the issue/perceived issue of consistency with wind and sunshine. When it was only in its' infancy it didn't really matter if the odd wind trubine needed switching off but now wind and solar are becoming extremely large contributors so and need to turn off chunks of that generation facility will be costly unless there is adequate back up/storage available. Even then that storage won't overcome cost of turning off turbines if hurricane force winds decide to hit over several days. There's still much to be done as this very new sustainable industry develops. Again these are issues Govts are having to face when making decisions for their national grids... There's still a lot of fear out there and the main question is still... 'What happens when/if...'
