Haha...on 29 Nov 2021 Avacta announced they have received FDA IND approval for AVA6000 which means they must have submittted their application some time before the Sept 21 Interims:

Moderna Exercises Option for an Exclusive Product License
Avacta Group plc (AIM: AVCT), the developer of Affimer® biotherapeutics and reagents, is pleased to announce that ModernaTX, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRNA) has exercised its option to enter into an exclusive licensing agreement with respect to certain Affimers against a potential therapeutic target that has been part of an ongoing research collaboration between the two companies.’

Now is ModernaTX simply waiting to see the initial data outcome of our AVA6000 trial. Remember our trial is running late due to Covid. ModernaTX triggered their option in Feb 2019 and per the Avacta 2019 Presentation they had anticipated first in patient trial Q2 2020 with Initial Data Q3/4 2020 and Licence Deals Q4 2020. ModernaTX have slipped the word affimer into their Patent under the Therapeutics Section and it’s clearly linked to Cancer treatment. ModernaTX have simply exercised their option as part of an ongoing collaboration so are they collaborating with Avacta on the AVA6000 research and if the initial findings are good they will then enter into a deal. This would all make sense to me looking back at the 2019 Presentation, its wording and timescales etc.
Second point, how has Avacta managed to bring on board the likes of Christina Coughlin and why did Avacta need to take on FTI Consulting as their shield.
Could all be a to do about nothing but I do get the feeling ModernaTX is still very much in the background playing a simple waiting game…

Gmcc...there was a small matter of Covid since that presentation so time line slipage understandable but useful as a guide for where we are now going forward and confirms what we have been told and when to expect initial data with deal(s) soon after.
Also check out target companies which should be the same...

13thmonkey...the Covid LFT is still on the Avacta website under product but they have added the following statement...
'Validated Against Delta and Omicron Variant – Routine monitoring of all emerging variants to ensure continued diagnostic accuracy'
At this point, until we are told otherwise or it is removed from the website, we cannot assume it is dead in the water.
We also don't know whether or not Medusa Healthcare is planning on actively promoting it once the 'routine monitoring/tweeking' has been completed.

Yes I do think Jupiter are closing but we won't know for sure until they close completely as ShareT doesn't report less than 0.5%. For me it's the size of these late trades...358,000 yesterday and 510,000 today. They are round numbers. Jupiter was at 0.58% = 1,473,200 shares required to close. If the above two late trades are related to Jupiter then they have 605,200 to go (assuming they haven't reduced in the meantime). At this rate it's a couple more days worth....mmm! we have Monday and Tuesday left before results...coincidence or what?

As I have said before, in order to buy in volume on a single day, there has to be a lot of much small trades worked through so they can control the SP and encourage sellers to part with some shares.

I have also said...I think this might be happening...it's pure guess work but we have seen days like these before.
I have also suggested it might be Jupiter but it could well be Bronte who had 0.5% = 1,270,000 and if it is them they could be down to 402,000 needed to close out.

Either way, this is a guessing game until we know for sure...
