Hunky: was it you saying the tax bill cannot be paid by the finance agreement in place? If so, how do you know that? I just read it as providing cash to help with operations in the short-term?

this share has plenty of people willing to **** it off, which is possibly to do with the coverage it has received from a large investor or two on Twitter over recent years, but it is actually a decent company in a good sector offering a lot of potential; the key word is the last one...

We know tech companies are often priced on their potential, but this one isn't. I think it only takes a decent order update to see the share price jump. STAR has a funding facility in place, annual revenues (Saas) of half of its market cap with great margins, and two or three customers who were previously hoped to make large orders prior to the restrictions associated with Covid. There is regular revenue on top of the Saas payments and Covid has seen the hoped increases delayed.

We are waiting for formal confirmation of agreements/ contracts on a number of areas. Some will have been delayed due to Covid and others might come from last week’s development; that could be at any time. The price is low so we might see some interest based on that alone.

Hunky: only last week you were wondering why STAR hasn't provided an update with Zero and now they have.

The negatives you have picked out are nothing new and I think they added that for balance as otherwise it would have just been a rampy RNS about forthcoming/ hoped deals.

We received an excellent update this week and the business seems to have turned a corner - what more do you want? I get your point, though, although it is the share price we don't like, in my opinion.

I agree - the way the price has held and now moving up since the RNS yesterday is an early sign of that.

Yesterday's news was very good and it is refreshing to see the price not drop a little like usual. If this isn't the start of lots more deals then I will be surprised. Of course, the one I am waiting for is either in SA or another managed contract.

There may have been progression but we don't know about it - an update is due, surely.

If this catches the eye of the general investor (usually investing in larger companies) in the news, this will likely take their interest.

Excellent PR for the company and it all adds to the profits.

If they can get back to a profitable company, which you'd hope for, then this price looks incredibly cheap. You could say it is very cheap based on the cash levels and revenue anyway.

Whilst Riddler maybe needs to ignore you and not take it so personally, I think the fact that it is only at 1.1p when there is so much potential surprises him (i.e. the markets do look into the future so it should be a higher price).

Hunky: as mentioned below, there is no and has not been net profit so it can't worsen, but I know what you mean. However, STAR has 3/4 potential contracts which can come at any time and they are enough to take STAR into profit, in my opinion. This might be why they could secure such favourable borrowing and also the reason this share price can go a lot higher in the short-term.
