The market has been unexpectedly patient, relative to its peers. Science day in November came and went - comm’s is Avacta’s Achilles heel. And it’s far easier to sort than the tech they are trialing. Massively ironic.

My timeframe for this investment has been linked to AVA’s trial success. Money off the table at successful P1b. Leave some to run.

All about timescales RAH. An additional 6 months and I’d consider leaving, and may return given an opportunity. Nothing sinister, just timing. It clearly works. I just can’t have another 6-12 months of money tied up with no end in sight.

Agree PL - disappointment is the natural baseline re timelines.

Not quite sure that’s it PL. The SDMC do not decide what happens with the trial, they advise. We’re 4 cohorts into a 4 cohort strategy. If they change that (this isn’t just dates slipping) they HAVE to communicate it.

DE 5&6 will add 6 months. Worst still, provide no confidence they’ll be done, then. Over 2 years to complete a P1a?? Ridiculous without a plan/reason.

I’ve been critical of AS’s communication in the past. DE5 with a ‘progressing well’ would be the first time I would consider this investment.
