Forget the antibody thing. It’s a red herring. Avacta ‘designed’ a test that failed. On many levels. They haven’t been able to get a commercially sustainable test to market. Omicron is not the devil here. Other tests work.

Until (if) they put it right, the whole thing has been an experience. Move on - honesty.

It’s difficult to see how the market will react to data. Whatever has happened in the past, I’m convinced data will be extremely rich and allow many implications at this stage.

Avacta’s sentiment is at an all time low. Accounts like this that talk about ‘flaky PI’s’ and ‘stickier hands required’ need to look in the mirror.

Is it with serious acceptance that Avacta shelve the LFT next month, having told us in Jan that it was still working on it, AND that a significant commercial opportunity remains? No. It isn’t.

AS can’t help but string along the narrative. If ABDX put the boot in, then Avacta smooth it over, prepare to be kicked.

By the way, I believe the commercial opportunity exited the room months ago. Point being; we need to be consistent with reality and keep the ramping to a minimum. Avacta is healthier when they release factual data. Any informal chat should be ignored.

My point is; take everything said with a pinch of salt. It’s great we’re attracting people. Why? I’m not sure. Are they all now ‘inside’ and joining based on the promise. I highly doubt it. They’re NED’s - really not that important to Avacta’s future.

Wiggly - we could have. A better stage would have been data release end off december/early jan. That was the plan.

But it’s held promise for years? Let’s wait for data. No conclusions here.
