Romaron, unfortunately for the yanks, they seemed to have missed a major trick on shale financing. Whereas with the mortgage CDO’s 10 years ago which were packaged up & sold off to the likes of Deutsche Bank etc, as far as I’m aware Wall Street is sitting on the majority of the shale debt time bomb. Hopefully in this case what goes around comes around, but I bet Goldman Sucks aren’t one of the financiers to get caught with their trousers down.

True vessel, IMO today’s sp jump an overreaction, but assuming it flows gives an indication of how the sp will bounce. I think I’d prefer death by booze, but only money at the end of the day.

Genghis, that sort of agrees with what I’ve been told, I’m non technical, but drilling through a solid section was the consequence of a non result at WD. Apparently seismics have limitations, I guess if they didn’t every drill would hit the bullseye.

I think the next few days will be v interesting, just hope the well flows crude & not brine. For what’s its worth I’m hopeful. End.

Alfa, I think the sky is the limit with HUR, assuming the structure of the reserve pans out as predicted imo it will be bought or the fields will be farmed out to a major player. To date, other than one duff drill it has surpassed performance expectations. It definitely has the potential to multi bag, but you will need to be patient.

Solid points TR & well done in crystallising a profit. I’m happy to hug n hold & buy only in the 70’s. Your correct about holding long, all my big gains with other shares have been made that way & honestly I would have made a fortune if I’d been more patient & not taken quick profits on arm, wimpey, sky etc...PMO will need to be £1.30 plus before I bail out. I guess time is still on my side, but patience is wearing thin. Fingers crossed for a strong rebound as you say the pins would appear to be lining up nicely .

Topped the home heating oil tank up today, I thought it would have caused a big draw, just emptied by bank account instead...
