GGP is becoming really interesting almost as an arbitrage investment case.

500k oz sitting at surface, with no mining cost. That gold has risen significantly in value since Shaun released that info. The SP has risen somewhat, but not comparable to gold’s gains.

At current prices this is offering a paltry valuation of the rest of the business.

Quarterly results could be a big driver of the SP but ASX opens the doors to IIs. AIM had its day but sadly most IIs and funds won’t touch it with a barge pole. Would like to see main listing one day that would be great. Really not a priority for now though.

To use a poker analogy, Antipa are ‘bleeding chips’. There’s no pressing need for GGP to take a serious look at them and by the time we might be interested, they may well be in a position to be low balled. I just think GGP’s working capital has far more pressing priorities than acquiring Antipa prospects.

The volumes are the dead giveaway that this is not being played with a straight bat. Nearly 500 million shares have changed hands in the last 10 days and the SP barely budges? It’s being held.

Agreed Feeks, won’t be getting his 20% here. Desperate stuff.

In hindsight the leadership lacked ambition by settling low with Samsung, and it’s the same story with the buyback. I’ll be glad to see the back of Tenner.

I think the reality is for a company like nano, supply chains are long and fragile, this is always the risk trying to get things off the ground.

I’ve sold a chunk today because I’ve had enough. It’s been an expensive lesson. I’ve kept a bit in because I think the chances of a takeover, whilst not odds on, are higher than they’ve ever been. Maybe STM walked because it’s cheaper to just buy the company out than work long term with them.

A sad day.

That to me reads like it’s being canned.

All hinges on gen 2 now, and faith that the leadership can deliver actual growth and pursue opportunities properly…bearing in mind there’s been no movement on display despite that being trumpeted since 2022…I’ll let you decide how competent Tenner is.

There is a risk that without some proper accountability at board level, this could become a lifestyle company. I’ve been here since 2021 and I don’t say that lightly.

Had this disappointing news been received against a backdrop of really strong comms, a highly visible and energised marketing strategy, detailed info about how market opportunities are being pursued; that would all help to soften the blow. One must accept that nano is operating in a space that has fragile and volatile supply chains.

But as we go forward, it seems to me that BT doesn’t possess the right skill set to take this company towards commercial viability. Not to mention that the manner in which investors have been gaslighted borders on criminal.

To suggest STM has walked when the RNS explicitly the opposite on gen 2 is just nuts. But there’s no getting away from the fact this isn’t exactly good news.

I think it goes to show that there is a more general discussion to be had about the fragility of the industry that nano operates in. Long, complex supply chains, ever shifting tech and product potential. It’s very difficult to build a base in those circumstances.

For what it’s worth though a change in the board needed to prevent this becoming a lifestyle company at investors expense.

Thought I’d check in here after a good while. Thought something was brewing with 50+ comments. But no, the same circular non-discussions ad nauseum. In the same topic that was being discussed a month ago ad nauseum.

Kooba I remember you mentioning a while back that you were lucky enough to be ‘enjoying’ an early retirement. And yet you choose to spend the vast majority of it on here as chief architect of provocation, having the same circular discussions day in day out. Getting into spats constantly.

Genuine advice: find something more positive to invest your time and energy in. There’s more to life.

Trying to predict these things based on a very specific criteria, given how many variables are in play, is just pointless.

I agree it doesn’t make sense, but there’s more arguments favouring this being a good thing rather than a bad one…

My guess is they’ve entered a closed period. News is afoot.

As has been explored quite exhaustively. This hasn’t been a purely financial exercise. Sellers have been cleared out via the tender and so in essence it’s a bit of a ‘reset’ in terms of sentiment and the sorts of holders left holding. Price action no surprise viewed through this lens and yet it still seems to be eluding some…

I think the only things that’ll invite selling pressure is a lengthy period of no news or bad news. But the price will be at least sustained for the next 3 months through Nano buying alone…

I don’t see a big bounce on fresh air. The ceiling will be 24p until we get material news. But equally, I don’t see where the sellers are going to be to drive this to 16/17p in the near term. Current holders are likely to have sticky hands and there’s cash to hoover up circa 15million shares…

Thing is where do you see selling pressure coming from? This stock doesn’t typically produce volume that day traders would enjoy, any IIs looking to sell have probably took their opportunity during the tender.

This could take months to drift and even if it does, there are deep pockets buying shares.

Not really that amazing Kooba. Those that wanted out got their exit via the tender. That then leaves those that didn’t. So it stands to reason the price is stable. A share price isn’t solely a function of its mcap and you’ve misjudged how it’s panned out. It was a silly assumption to think Nano as a business would continue to be worth £0 and it looks like a few others have become casualties to this misplaced assumption.

You may recall Lord putting some maths on what the Mcap should be as reasoning for why he sold. The sheer mechanics of the tender are just one part of this equation. The other part of the equation is the behaviour and sentiment of those left holding, and if those left holding turned down 24p, it makes no logical sense that a lower SP will tempt people to part with their shares. Not for a few months at least.

Post tender, they will be in very sticky hands and liquidity will be low. I don’t see 16/17p regardless of the wishful thinking of some based on current mcap etc. it might have seemed a tidy little trade at the time, but it crucially discounts those left holding, who are likely to be hardened holders waiting for the long game to play out. Not exactly fertile ground for a big swing down.

Twogood. Why would they be in hot water? It’s not for the company to tell you what to do with your money. The tender was 24p take it or leave it, to each their own.
