No interest in comparing KIST to LBE. Obviously, it was the better investment! If LBE rises a bit more I could bank a profit but I think LBE is cheap and I'm not selling until it finds some oil! And then we're talking multiples of the current SP.

At best, I envisage a 550% increase in the SP after the Oxford Nanopore IPO but WTFDIK?

No need to correct! I've given up on all my Investments. Frozen my PF and will only sell post-jackpot. ZIOC remains the favourite and I'm still expecting at least £1 per share but it could be a lot less... and there's nothing any ZIOC shareholder can do about it. How depressing! "There's no such thing as a free lunch" springs to mind along with "never give a sucker an even break!" Meanwhile, I have high hopes for my second largest holding SUPP which nobody else appears to share! Third largest holding is TWD which got crucified this week after admitting Covid had had an adverse effect! How surprising...

It's not a case of no longer believing ! You obviously missed "I'm not selling"! It's more a case of the goalposts being moved and feeling cheated by the BOD. Except I'm sure they're working on buying a producing asset which is why I and many others invested in the first place. Meanwhile, in anticipation of finding oil, all these sells make no sense.

Having just been shafted by LBE I'm keen for TWD to reward my patience. Interested to read about 20% of EV buyers in California giving up and reverting to internal combustion due to problems with the charging infrastructure. If it's bad there how much worse must it be here? My local Tesco has just installed 4 chargers which is a joke! How about 100?

What a waste of time my investment in LBE has been! But we are where we are and, in anticipation of finding oil, I'm not selling. I'm currently down 2% with LBE which contrasts with the 63% I'd be up with KIST had I bought @ 110p but didn't.
I think placing new shares at 25% less than the initial IPO was a very bad move but WTFDIK? It may all work out OK in the end but, in future, I'll be steering clear of this BOD. Still, 150p by Xmas?

I don't have a problem with someone paying a fee to a financial adviser for initial advice but that advice has to be: spread your risk. Which means investing in several funds. Fair enough, even if they don't recommend a Tracker fund! What gets my goat is the annual fee thereafter! Half an hour's work once a year shuffling money around to justify their existence? And it's impossible for the client to know if she's actually benefitting! Meanwhile, in ZIOC World it's all looking extremely depressing. Hopefully, if the price of Iron Ore plunges we might get a sensible offer. Alternatively, if the price of Iron Ore continues to rise we might get a sensational offer. I'm not holding my breath and ZIOC is now reduced to 36% of my PF but it's still the jackpot I'm relying on.
