...by 0.79% just to get it into round figures. Also persuaded my son to invest 10% of his capital on the grounds that he will at least double his investment whatever happens. My stockbroker thinks current value is 21p and that's bleeding obvious! If it's that obvious I'd expect some more money being invested by their more adventurous clients but WTFDIK?
After the interview the SP plunged 10% but I don't think we should hold that against him as many people um... & err...
At the same time, I don't recall Alexander Mining making me any money many years ago but maybe my timing was wrong?
That was then and this is now. Surely ORR's assets will speak for themselves? If it is the next GGP it doesn't matter much who's in charge but the sooner ALL Directors emulate Eileen's investment the better! 2p by Xmas?
What do I care - I'm a pensioner! Just got caught short racing to the toilet - very messy! Must buy a bungalow! I look forward to reading DANNYBAREY's comments about anything other than me. Meanwhile, I hope I can stay sober enough to watch the documentary about Syd Barrett on Sky Arts tonight @ 2100. And yes, the world DOES revolve around me (and you).
I'm not sure anyone understands the Lanstead deal - and that includes Lanstead! I presume it's in their interest to suppress the SP by selling shares in order to keep their payments over 0.2533p as low as possible but what happens if they don't sell their shares? As I understand it, if the SP multibagged they receive no benefit and it could prove extremely expensive! Alternatively, what happens after they've sold all their shares long before the end of the agreement? Presumably the SP would've rocketed long before in anticipation? The next GGP with added rocket power? I dunno!
Have previous Lanstead deals been with dead ducks and suddenly, they've signed a deal with a swan? Very tempted to double my holding - who needs to own acres in Utah except the upside there is equally compelling.
the sp was up 1.73% today in anticipation! very unexciting times or the sp would be far higher but other shareholders disagree despite knowing how it usually works. they can't all be paid rampers, surely? can you be a paid wishful thinker? why shouldn't the sp be at least 20p by now if the future's brighter? at the same time, what difference would it make? **** all? i note aal rejected bhp's offer which they'll almost certainly increase. elphick + glen still need a mighty kick up the **** before any of us long-suffering lths will ever see any value. and it better be worth the long wait when it finally arrives! i've just lost the house of my dreams due to the lack of a modest jackpot - a £2 takeover would've been enough to enable me to buy it. i'm gutted yet unsurprised. bits dated back to the 12th century - you can't find a house like that every day of the week. gone very retro - currently listening to korn from the 1990s. reminds me of my old dad listening to nat king cole while i was pink floyd's biggest fan in 1967. i lost interest after they dumped syd barrett.
...GLEN, instead of AAL, wasn't the receiver of an "unsolicited, non-binding and highly conditional combination proposal" from BHP who would, presumably, have required them to get rid of their Iron Ore interests.
When is there ever any "evidence" based on the SP? Meanwhile, news could arrive at any moment! I've gone from expecting 60p to £6 plus! Bring it on! But make it quick!
Yes, really smashed! I thought my days of two bottles of wine were behind me but apparently not! Tesco's 25% off 3 Finest Wines contributed to my downfall but I have no regrets! Only drank two of them and the other one today. I remain a very dissatisfied shareholder and hold the usual suspects responsible. The endless delay is despicable!
Zanaga Iron Ore £35004
Oriole Resources £12166
Lansdowne Oil & Gas: £2412
Kore Potash: £1960
TomCo Energy: £1545
GreenX Metals: £1401
Writing it down in hard figures has a sobering effect but I still place my faith in my # 1 investment to deliver me from poverty.
"Still holding, not folding a fraction of my original investment having banked a few profits along the way. One of my best investments after DYOR identified it as chronically undervalued. We'll see. These days I can't seem to find the time for DYOR so I'm dependent on decisions taken many years ago as far as my current holdings are concerned. One or two jackpots and I'm outta here! Biggest future jackpot: ZIOC and it's still dirt cheap!"

Worn record but the sooner ORR start generating income and then a share buyback the better for all of us! Alternatively, at this stage, a reckless takeover offer might suit all concerned. 3p would be wonderful! Might sound fanciful but it could be a bargain price depending on what's in them thar hills. GLA!
"Funnily enough, I'm feeling more positive about TOM than the rest of my holdings put together!" Something's happening here so I feel vindicated! Very wary of involving the Occult in my investment decisions but ignoring my gut feeling has cost me dear in the past. We must all follow our own guru. And if your guru is yourself then prepare to disappear up your own vestibule. Black holes on a smaller scale? GLA!
why does someone keep stealing my capital letters? no complaints about the *******! while i'm here, congratulations to **** sparrer for entering the top 100 album chart at # 96 - who'd've thought an oi band would have an audience in 2024?
another week goes by... another house i'd like to buy if only someone offered 209p for my zioc shares. doesn't seem like too much to ask when there's talk of £4-£6 elsewhere. they're delusional. exquisite house has bits dating back to the 12th century and i know i'm going to be very disappointed. please, please, please mr elphick & glen - get a ******* move on!
@Crownos
Alternatively, TOM could be the best of a very bad bunch! Only today HZM has announced it can't secure funding and they have links with GLEN so it's hardly surprising TOM is having problems. At the same time, if the numbers add up, it's a shame funding is not forthcoming. I note your comment about any multibag being somewhat limited by the terms of any deal - that is certainly a worry. GLA!

You don't know someone bought 23.5m shares!
As I understand it the SP plunged 23.53% after the sale of 23.5m which was late-reported but WTFDIK?
Funnily enough, I'm feeling more positive about TOM than the rest of my holdings put together!
