Surely Drago1 and beardozer aren't the only shareholders sick and tired of ZIOC? While the rest cut 'n' paste news items which are supposed to support a future for ZIOC the SP goes nowhere! Not sure what the answer is. Answers on a postcard? Probably sell up or shut up!
Or the year after? TOM for me was always a binary bet but they're only expecting £14m to keep the show on the road and then untold millions of profit later. Somebody's sofa must have £14m down the back of it somewhere! Or is it better to wait until TOM goes belly up and then pick up the assets for peanuts? All very galling but par for the course.
My thoughts entirely - I doubt I'll still be alive in 8 years! How's that for shareholder value, Mr Elphick? Get a bloody move on! Even a peanuts offer is better than nothing - at least it might start the ball rolling.
I would hope all existing disputes are unaffected and will run their course.
The UK is pulling out of a treaty that lets fossil fuel firms sue governments over their climate policies.
The UK will quit the controversial energy charter treaty (ECT) after efforts to align it with net zero emissions plans failed, the government announced late on Wednesday.
The treaty allows fossil fuel investors to sue states for lost profit expectations in an opaque corporate arbitration system set up to protect fossil fuel investors in the former Soviet economies in the 1990s.
Graham Stuart, the energy security and net zero minister, said: “The energy charter treaty is outdated and in urgent need of reform, but talks have stalled and sensible renewal looks increasingly unlikely. Remaining a member would not support our transition to cleaner, cheaper energy, and could even penalise us for our world-leading efforts to deliver net zero.” Treaty protections for new energy investments will cease in one year’s time when the withdrawal takes effect, the government statement said.
I thought you know everything!
100x is more like it if everything goes according to plan.
Not sure what your point is! Looking back over today's trades on here, very few were Automatic and the buys appeared to outweigh the sales. What ORR badly needs is for the herd to arrive several times in succession, not giving profit-takers a chance for breath! They'll thank me later.
"I’m not in a hurry." Some of us were saying that several years ago! Whatever - something MUST happen this year! I can't imagine still being here a year from now. Having said that, my X-Wife accepted an offer for her house 15 months ago and completion is only now expected 25 March! Mainly down to incomplete paperwork and a very vigilant buyer's solicitor.
I'm not sure he's happy with her vigilance!
Why is anyone selling unless they think they can buy back cheaper at a later date? Despite all the good news expected. The sooner ORR start to generate some cash and launch a share buyback scheme the better - let's get the number of shares in issue under a billion which can only add value to the holdings of long-suffering LTHs. Not forgetting Eileen.
I've never filtered anyone but good luck! They tend to turn up under a different name in the blinking of an eye. It was interesting how quickly Eddsy's comment " Over to you DANNYBAREY? ;-)" led to DANNYBAREY's comment.
Who cares what they post? Or anyone for that matter? What happens here is way beyond what anybody comments.
And I'm 100% sure DANNYBAREY will kick himself for not buying ZIOC !
Except Mr Market knows best! And the lack of SP progression would support your belief in no overnight jackpot which is very depressing. I remember years ago Investors Chronicle advising its readers to avoid investing in Lithium and it was largely good advice! Already electric cars are losing so much value who wants to buy a new one? It's a dead end except the EU now wants to ban elderly cars from being repaired thus forcing owners into buying something newer.
Yeah, I think LOGP is yet another of my investments to go down the pan.
Or will it be worth £billions eventually?
Wise words dfg4699! I love the Glug glug glug! Not convinced about roosting chickens and deceased ducks. Upwards & onwards as far as long-suffering shareholders are concerned.
You made me laugh! My Panda's 14 years old and due for its MOT. What crucified me recently was one of four injectors needed replacing - £800! There are another three to worry about. I'll try to do my bit and breakdown on the westward side of the A14 if Russia invades but I'm sure the Orwell Bridge will have already been blown up. Seriously, we should be very worried! There's nothing to stop Russia invading Europe and eventually us!
And why wouldn't you want to declare being a ZIOC shareholder? If you're not, you're even more of an idiot! Seriously, if you have any money to spare then investing it in ZIOC could very well be a very rewarding investment but WTFDIK?
