Having carefully read all your WG posts, it is obvious that you are very knowledgeable and presumably hold accountancy experience. You also appear to be a holder of WG shares and therefore not a deramper. However, your reference to the A word in your latest post might scare off potential buyers of the shares at these depressed levels. Were you serious in suggesting this as a possible scenario or just trying to be melodramatic?

As there seems to be a massive over-reaction to the lack of an offer, I have decided to place a limit buy order at 25p to hopefully take advantage of this ludicrous situation.

But why not buy on the dips? That might trigger an upward move in the share price.

Somebody has asked me if Sidara could decide to take Wood private as they have no shareholders to appease themselves.

The funny thing is that Vulcan may well be proved right, namely down to 20p on suspension. What he doesn't bother to mention, however, is that the offer may come during the suspension with trading resuming at 100p plus thereafter.

For those getting tired of waiting for the deal, a similar scenario may be occurring between ENQ and SQZ with a much shorter deadline. May be interesting to see if that deal/merger takes place this week or if an extension proves necessary.

Looking at his post history, I suspect L/O simply wants to bag a bargain, having presumably missed out when it fell below 22p recently.

JCL, to be fair to LO, the HARL suspension was sudden and unforeseen. He was just unlucky it seems. At least we know with WG. that suspension may come on a certain date. The difference here is that WG. will not go under. The suspension will be lifted once the accounts are published and life will go on.

Just topped up as this seems like a great opportunity to make some easy money alongside my WG. investment.

Two positive RNS this morning and multiple cross ramping by Denby or whoever...and yet the SP continues to stagnate around the placing level.
