Having reluctantly sold at 307p end of last week, anything below 240p looks a great buying opportunity to me.

My sell target is currently 98.75p but hope to buy back on any dip.

I meant to say another placing if the suggested 2.50p share deal does not go through.

It seems that the market does not agree that this RNS is a game changer. Indeed, I wonder if a placing may be on the cards to finance the proposed acquisition.

Avacta said it ended the year with £12.9m in cash, rising to £17.3m as of April after the divestment of Launch Diagnostics.

GW you muppet, Avacta’s accounts have already been signed off and released, today’s RNS is the audited set of results, including the going concern statement. The auditors are satisfied. The Board is satisfied. The market is satisfied. Stop posting garbage.

You clearly know nothing about me. I am a holder of CTAI, ITM , WG. amongst several others. What I cannot stand are obvious shorters and Pump & Dump merchants.

Tiger, I saw 1.5m sold at 16.29 but nothing worth over £5K, so where is the RNS? Just another P&Dmerchant it seems.

Having checked the recent share trades history, I can see no evidence of the massive buys some folk are implying. The largest was for only £5.7K about 15 mins before close with the average being under £1K. Hardly significant in my view. Wouldn't be surprised if the SP opens 10% lower tomorrow.

Manfor, the SP has not more than doubled in the past year. It was 450p one year ago.

Have checked my Barclays (Smart Investor) account. No Corporate Actions involving Wood Group are notified.

1450p at close is a rubbish prediction. The SP has fallen for a very good reason. The results were terrible. 1250p at close, perhaps.

James dear fellow, who says that shareholders will reject the 35p Sidara offer? There are several thousand I suspect who bought for between 18-20p and will be happy to double their investment. Also, when does this vote take place and how do we participate?

I think your constant ramping Mafs may be falling on deaf ears. This shot up from 55p to 95p for virtually no reason. It is bound to initially travel back to the 60p mark. Hopefully as a holder, it will eventually climb back into the 70's but don't expect that to happen overnight. Some positive news may be required.
