I'm here for the long term as this is a credible, growing company. Not particularly bothered by dividend income as I tend to find I can earn more through share price growth than dividends, however both would certainly be nice! Always learning...... Don't think anyone put off by the dividend particularly as it has effectively been increased by 67% which wasn't expected. I just think the markets are a bit wobbly and when people realised that the excellent interim results were largely factored into the share price they simply moved on to the next quick buck rather than hold and wait for the long term profits that I think we will gain here - anyway it's just an opinion. Don't think it has anything to do with the dividend as although its low it has been increased significantly and it's a bonus that they pay a dividend at all unlike the majority of companies on AIM. Over the last few months this has climbed steadily and hasn't been particularly volatile, however I think that the markets in general are a bit iffy and now that Sweett have released their interims which were fantastic people are moving on to the next best thing whilst we wait on more news here - anyone share this opinion?

Strong interim results from Sweett Group (CSG) reflect a significant turnaround in fortunes for the construction and property consultant. Revenues rose from £37.7m to £44.4m, boosted by strong progress in markets outside of Europe, and profits rose by 75 per cent to £2.8m, allowing for a 67 per cent hike in the dividend to 0.5p. We repeat our recent buy recommendation.

Bilboburgler - madness in my opinion, all good at Sweett, so I can only assume the market is fishing for cheap shares - will bounce back quickly and plenty of news to come particularly with infrastructure spending on the rise worldwide

Laureate - I thought the same, went out this morning and too be honest was expecting a bit of a rise so a bit shocked to see the full extent of the retrace way down to 52p! But as you say it's no bad thing and normality seems to have returned this afternoon - shame I was out as I would have topped up at that price

Following their review the Sweett Group are now steam rolling ahead, worldwide infrastructure projects particularly in the Middle East are on the increase hence Sweetts growing order book with a significant enquiry pipeline. Great long term hold in my opinion

Stucki - never can tell for sure whats driving an sp at any given time but the market does typically get a sniff prior to something big being announced hence we sometimes see extra volume

JSJS have certainly turned a corner with plenty to look forward to. The Megaman deal will really help put LightWave on the map as Megaman are really huge and many electrical contractors buy direct and are always looking for cost effective options to offer clients seeking home automation and energy efficiencies etc. From my own personal experience of house building I would have jumped at the JSJS product range had I of known about it, instead I opted for mega expensive Lutron lighting and a seriously complicated control to zone my heating! They are also trialling efficiency products for the commercial space and are working with house builders to create zero energy homes. The assisted living market is huge with massive scope for JSJS. Wouldn't be surprised if they were the subject of a takeover in the not too distant future. Great long term hold in my opinion

The Board expects to announce the Group's unaudited half-year results on 3rd December 2013 and looks forward to providing a further update at that time.

Sweett Group has been awarded the contract to provide cost consultancy services on the £200m new engineering campus development for the University of Manchester. The new engineering campus will be the largest project ever undertaken by the university and will include new build and refurbishment work. It will cover 71,000 sq m and provide accommodation for four schools within the engineering and physical sciences faculty, housing several thousand students and staff. A main contractor is expected to be appointed within the next 12 to 18 months with the project due to be completed by 2018. Sweet Group managing director Derek Pitcher said: “This is a fantastic appointment. Education is our third largest sector in the UK, with Sweett Group now working for 75 per cent of the UK’s leading universities. “By securing this role it demonstrates our increasing presence at the forefront of higher education projects,” he added. The University of Manchester plans to invest £1bn over the next ten years to create a single site campus, with the first phase of the £700m plan to be delivered over the next six years.

Not sure i understand - whats an OK trade? The trades you mention just look like biggish ordinary trades

Building has seen a resurgence in all sectors including residential, housing association and commercial, energy efficiency is no longer a nice to have it is now a legal requirement that new builds must meet certain efficiency criteria - JSJS provide a cost effective, simple option that both automates a home and makes it more efficient. JSJS products can be retrofitted and as such meet the needs of the burgeoning home renovation/DIY market. There are endless ways their existing product range can be used in the Assisted Living space and I believe they are continuing to develop their range specifically for this sector. They are also working with house builders during the design and build stage to create zero energy homes - see electric Corby. They are also developing and trialling their range in a commercial environment at Warwick University. I feel they have worked hard to develop different routes to market through B&Q, Maplin, Amazon and the huge deal with Megaman. I feel it's only up from here as the time is right for their product range. I suspect they will be snapped up by one of the larger players in the not too distant future.
