I’m going to tell you a ridiculous theory here you can have a good laugh at. Because it’s all just gambling anyway. But when the market went bonkers during Covid, I think a lot was fuelled by PI, getting skint and bored so threw themselves into the stock exchange meaning most stock ended up way over bought.

I think the cost of living and possible recession will drive the same behaviour?? Just a wild theory, don’t need any certain cranks commenting.

Only thing I can chip in with is that holidays/travel is booming again, owning my own travel agency. Thank god we needed it, been a steady growth for a while now, but now summers hitting, it’s rocking again.

As for cost of living, people will just have to stop being so wasteful and down grade there silly expensive cars on finance and get a Vauxhall Corsa instead.

I’m in direct contact with a family that own a hostel in Odrzykon Poland on the Ukrainian border, they are housing and feeding refugees from there own pocket at the moment. I book the accommodation through Airbnb and use the money to help.
