I’ve been fortunate enough to inherit my Dads £1.5m share portfolio. He was a successful FCA, and once FD for Next Plc.

He caught me to always be wary of businesses as the world is full of trickery’ ‘Desiderata’. The business world is now led by greed, hedge funds and computers algorithms. So unless you’re in for the long term. You will not win.

This share is a perfect example. 63% owned by institutions. A great business, ruined by greed. I hope for the sake of a great British business it’s taken Private. Makes no odds to me. Just a shame.

Still got plenty in. It’s not the company, it’s the UK economy and labour that’s the issue as we all know. Such a shame for such a tremendously run company. Deserves better. I’ll still be lurking around.

I don't believe for 1 minute there isn't big demand for shares. This is being deliberately held back and supressed. I have never seen a share price react like this after a good TU. They drop heavily, or rise heavily. 2 weeks ago volume was at x6. Both short positions reduced to under 0.5%. BOD and Blundy bought in higher. Those are facts. Not conspiracy theories.

Anyway, happy to wait. My feeling is an institutional buyer is on the way or a buy-out. Just IMO of course.

Yes, more patience required. I’ve said this before but…If you look up Brett Blundy ‘Lovisa’ value jewellery range/brand, you will see it’s a perfect fit for distribution in CF shops especially as a secondary gift. Would increase his distribution massively. He also has a foothold in the US and Europe. So wouldn’t surprise me at all if he gets more involved. A simple corner of Lovisa range in each shop. Add to the product range and offering.

Makes you wonder what the BOD and Blundy think when they all bought at higher than this mornings price after a good update.

Yes, even the volume is there, along with the TU. No doubts it will rise in the coming days and weeks, but best someone taking it Private. Wouldn't surprise me if it did, especially now they have a small toe in the U.S as well.
