When you rewatch the IMC from July through a different lens (one that takes Ashman's comments with a pinch of salt), then you can see a lack of clarity plus some hesitation in his answers to questions.

When he talks about Croda, it was very convenient that they don't allow him to say how much 'Royalty' revenue has already been received. It allows him to hide the poor performance of his acquisitions as we all have to guess how much revenue from Croda is in the results. He said 'when Croda let him, he will shout it from the highest mountain so please don't shoot the messenger.' Empty words as we head towards the end of August.

When he talks about Superdrug, he claims that they requested bringing the launch forward from 2026 to 2025 but an alternative view is that Ashman needed them to launch this year so that he could do a placing which covered the launch needs and gave him the opportunity to put some aside for his working capital as the acquisitions didn't deliver. He stated he didn't need working capital but I beg to differ based on the revenue miss. He had to do the placing very quickly so got 5 of his mates to cough up at 17p. I wonder what there thinking now with the SP at 14.5p

When he compared where the company is now against 2 years ago he stated revenue had gone from minimal revenue to north of £5m but that isn't the case is it as £5m was missed as well.

The presentation was held on 3rd July, after year end of 30th June and a quality CEO with his hands on the pulse would have known that the revenue was missed but did he say anything about the miss of course not, but then he isn't a quality CEO is he.

Vote him out, he's a liability.

Latest update from TW 30mins ago suggests that the revenue numbers were a significant miss and that Ashman should have been communicated this miss prior to the latest placing. Oh dear, the plot thickens and it looks like the clown has been covering up his numbers hoping the problem will disappear come the update in December.

Time to depart Ashman............

He is running out of time, doesn't have a clue how to get shareholders to support him. He needs to resign but doesn't understand the predicament he is in. Worse than SOH & that's saying something.

I've no doubt Ashman is trying his best but clearly his best isn't good enough. He only has himself to blame for the mess he has created.

DireCons, I only comment on shares I own. It's not personal, I don't hate him. I just don't rate him, he has been a disaster for this company over the past 5 years and changes his story all the time. He has no credibility in my view and the sooner he goes the better for all shareholders. I voted him off last year and will do so again this year.

Ashman makes it up as he goes along. He has consistently avoided meeting any timelines that he mentions in the IMC. He should have issued a profit warning when he knew his acquisitions would miss their revenue targets. He doesn't play with a straight bat and should pay the price at the next AGM if he hasn't already departed by then. Let's hope the big 5 vote him out as well, completely useless hiding in his bunker.

Why isn't Ashman buying any shares? That would signal a vote of confidence, Croda directors are buying their shares so Ashman can't make up excuses anymore. Always thinks he talks a good game so come on put your money where your your mouth is Ashman!

Only 3 1/2 months left before we can vote this clown out, unless he has already gone. It's clear that his TU was full of falsehoods and he has no idea how to worm his way out of this predicament. The acquisitions have turned out to be dire from a revenue perspective. Hiding behind a false NDA which doesn't exist, not updating anything on Croda royalties. Asks shareholders not to challenge anything on Croda as it might jeopardise the deal, really what a joke. Out of his depth, completely useless, overpaid, overrated. Do your shareholders a favour and resign, 95% of whom want you out. Bye bye.

Mad, if you're not Ashman then stop being his soundboard as you are light weight with zero critique, if anyone needs to grow up it is you. Ashman is out of his depth, zero ability and the sooner he goes the better for all shareholders.
