Simon from IC last did an update on JLP on 11th August when SP was 14.5p. He had a positive stance with a target price of 22p. Would be good to get an update from him overnight following this RNS.

Simon has a big following, his annual Bargain Shares portfolio (10 selected) comes out in the first week of February. This has been running for over 20 years. He is seen as one of the best small cap analysts (irrespective of making the odd error Moni). He normally does an Alpha update for IC every month or every other month. A number of his previous companies he has covered have been taken over. I would say that 7/10 of his companies will make you money over a steady 2/3 year period. If you pick one of the 3/10 then take the loss quickly. I for one am very happy that he has selected HVO and it would be great if either HVO or POLB made his bargain share in February 2023.

One of the best books I've read on investing is 'Zurich Axioms' by Max Gunther. I've read a lot of investing books but this one goes against the grain of traditional wisdom of investing. I've used this methodology to manage risk and POLB is one of my key investments having received 100k freebies from the ORPH spin off, I continued to buy at the start of the IPO and as the SP fell averaged down (mosts gurus tell you not to do this) to increase my holding to 500k and at the the current SP now showing a 65% profit.
My purpose in sharing this is to show what is possible by sticking with the principles in this book and would welcome any views from others that may have also read it. IMHO I am still very bullish on this stock and will continue to hold.
