The only country I'm aware of for short selling being banned currently is South Korea and only for a limited time.

The Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) is currently being worked on, however legal work around completion has taken longer than expected (including disruption due to the holiday period).

Really, as if they didn't know there was a Xmas holiday period - don't write such crap.

MM's will take the SP down until something positive comes out in the NY.

RNS out, Acquisition has slipped into early 2024 due to lawyers which is OK but it should have been released at 7am IMHO.

At least they are able to discuss at the AGM, let's see whether any thing else materialises.

M&A Strategy

Deep in the RNS was a rather compelling bullish forecast related to the M&A strategy, which I doubt many investors read past the funding comments. Remember, Stuart Ashman has primed investors for the first of multiple accretive acquisitions to be completed before the calendar year-end. Although none of the proposed funding will be used for the imminent acquisition, all parties must be assured of their financial status as a going concern.

Hi Clio, a small exert from Elric's update on 15th November.

Stuart discussed accretive acquisitions, plural. Moreover, he believes he can finish one before New Year, with another in Q1 2024. He put his head on the block and repeated to Mr Angry: sorry, my friend, Tom Winnifrith, who will not let Stuart off the meat hook if he fails to deliver. Stuart knows this because I did warn of setting himself up for failure during a narrow window before Christmas. However, he remains remarkably confident as of today.

So two acquisitions that Stuart remains very confident of delivery, the first before year end and the second before end of Q1 2024.

Now he may well deliver in the morning and we can congratulate him but equally he could have been overconfident and should not set himself up for failure as Elric advised him.

Acquisition by year end a certainty said Stuart, well we are nearly at year end. Market closes at 12 tomorrow.

SP sliding again so confidence starting to wane I would suggest. Lawyers to blame if it doesn't happen IMHO!!

HVivo has delivered handsomely for shareholders and some may wish to bank profit at 22p. But there is plenty more in store from this stock next year and beyond. Supportive investors should stick with Khan and his team.

Nice write up in tomorrow's mail on Sunday on HVO. Great year in 2023, looking forward to a great performance in 2024 as well.
