The business post article had a couple of headlines;
‘Six or seven million quid for my shares? That’s bloody good’: Cathal Friel on selling Hvivo stake
On top of growing the value of a company, Friel said his ‘core skill’ was in picking the right executives to lead public companies beyond his involvement.
Cathal Friel said that he had traded out from Hvivo now that the company was ‘fixed’.
He also did an interview in the Autumn of last year whereby he said if he had a spare £1m it would go into POLB shares.
Now that he has that spare £1m or more, let's see what he does with it.
I think HVO is still a good growth company and I'm currently up 92% on my 200k shares. I did sell 100k (1/3rd) last week to release funds for other purchases and to realise some profit, which frankly is why we all invest in the first place.
