PYX Resources: Achieving volume and diversification milestones. Watch the video here.
Trades shown on here as sells at 67.9 are in fact buys as the live price to buy is 67.825 & has been thereabouts for a couple days (ie below the mid-price)!
Broker recommendation from Hoodless Brennan on Monday.....'Renewable Energy Generation (RWE, 68p, £70.21m) has won a 5 year contract with the Port of Dover for a 150kW Volvo diesel gen-set that will run on recovered cooking fat and generate both power and heat, partially fulfilling the Port’s 6-8MW of annual energy consumption. Still a SPECULATIVE BUY'. The positive vibes keep coming for RWE..........just waiting for this to impact on the sp now.
'Organic growth and increase in earnings will see the SP rise way beyond £1.0 IMO. The EPS on wind alone was 48.4p in June 2009 accounts and with the addition of 16.7MW in operation by 2010 this will put a forward EPS 86.4p. RWE have announced the REG Bio-power is cost neutral as of Nov 2009 and should not incur any future losses and if anything should start to contribute to earnings. SP will certainly rise significantly in 2010 if not before. NAV(excluding intangibles) currently standing at 76.6p. So all in all it looks very promising for RWE and especially with a portfolio of 350MW and no debt. I wouldn’t like to guess how high this SP could go P/E > 4.0 maybe more?'
Huge plug for wind power on the BBC news last night outlining how much it is going to expand in this country over the next few years. Small wind farms of the RWE style are far more likely to get planning permission too, although from what was said yesterday, any opposition to wind farms is likely to be blown away anyway!
I can't see any reason for today's dip. But I do know it provides a great opportunity to top up at or sub 20p! This price will seem a steal in a years time.
Perfect timing to kick start the Copenhagen fortnight for RWE. Not the arm of RWE that I was expecting to bring us news which makes this even more of a bonus! A nice 25k buy to start the day too.
If this jumps significantly I may top slice a touch just to be safe, but have a long term hold outlook here as see this industry as having a very significant future.
Copenhagen creeps ever closer. Be very interested to see what sp here will be in a weeks time if renewables get the focus everyone seems to be predicting.
Buy all you can at this price mate. As soon as the market turns positive again, this will follow. This is a bargain basement price for GEMD!
The COP15 UN Climate Change Summit starts on December 7th. If all the pre-summit hype is to be believed it will lead to huge increases in renewable energies with Britain set to lead the way. This is obviously great news for RWE & we should see this reflected in the sp by the end of the summit on the 18th. Exciting times ahead!
Heaps more shares bought than sold today, including some very sizeable trades, & yet the sp goes down?! What are those meddling MMs up to??? Someone is doing some decent stake building here though ( as I imagine the £50k trades are the same investor) - maybe they know!
'I don't normally follow mining companies, so please correct me if I'm wrong!! But if GEMD is priced at £2 then, on end of June figures, a third of the SP would be straight cash and the mining interests would be valued at around £1.35 a share. Considering what those interests are, it seems absurdly cheap. That would seem to be the view of Blackrock WMT, which has raised its holding to 10%+ over the past months.' Forget £2, I see £2.37 as dirt cheap given this companies assets. As diamond prices recover the sp here will move into new trading ranges. This is a very safe share to be in.
HB used to be my brokers & I am still registered with them & follow their small caps coverage. They do have an excellent record of spotting potential & have made me a fair few pounds over the past couple years!! I think we can all see the potential of RWE without broker tips but it's good to see others 'in the know' are in agreement.
Just noticed the late reported buy from yesterday going through worth £340k. Someone is expecting RWE to go places!!
Lots of very sizeable buys gone through today (including some that are listed on here as 'sells'). Somebody certainly knows something! I would imagine a RNS will follow pretty soon to announce exactly what that is!
Rough diamond prices are on the march....... this report is not directly about GEMD but still good news for the industry. http://www.iii.co.uk/articles/articledisplay.jsp?article_id=10060972§ion=ShareDealing
Well looking at the size of the late reported buys on Friday, it looks like someone is expecting (or knows) the results to be good!!
Zac Goldsmith was dropping major hints on Radio 4 today that the Tories are more pro-renewables than pro-nuclear - could be a big expansion of land based windfarms with the new Govt next year then - let's hope so!
I don't think the end of the scrappage scheme will make much difference to the industry. The whole economy will be that much further down the road to recovery by then that car sales should be back to a good level. However, I wouldn't be at all suprised if the scheme was extended again anyway as it's an easy win political tool. Either way INCH will continue to increase it's market cap in 2010
Looking at the way the buys today way outnumber the sells, it seems very strange that the sp has gone down!! This is a funny old game. WKP is definitely back on it's upward trend though so 23.25p will do for now.
